You gotta try their new Donut Jars.....A great treat to make someone's day! Dessert in a jar......Donut holes, icing, toppings....all in a festive jar. All you need is a spoon! My favorite so far.......red velvet donut holes with cream cheese frosting and pecans!!!

We are obsessed with Donut Joes! We have never had a bad experience. We no longer live in Pelham but we still choose this place when we want quality donuts. They decorated custom donuts for my sons first birthday and they were a huge hit!! Highly highly recommend!!! �

Was hesitant at first as I am a die hard Krispy Kreme chocolate iced cream filled donut guy. I had a red velvet and cream cheese and they were super good. Will definitely come back.



Since you probably know more about donuts than me, how come no other donut shop has a creme filled with creme like Krispy Kreme has(the white creme)? Do they have a patent on it or something?

Love this place and especially the apple fritters. They’re so big you can split one with someone or eat the WHOLE thing. Who needs chains when there is such a great locally run and owned donut shop!

Love it that my son has a Saturday morning tradition of Donut Joes with his girls. I got to join them a week ago. We took home a jar of donut holes. Microwaved and served up up with vanilla ice cream! The girls and I give it a definite thumbs up!!! Delicious!

Typically we LOVE the donuts. It's difficult to find good donuts when your family owns a very popular donut shop in another state. Donut Joe's is the only place that we have been happy with since moving to Alabama. However, we visited over the weekend and bought a mixed dozen. All the donuts were stale except three of them. The apple fritters were beyond edible. Normally these are good for a couple days. I'm still giving a four star because I know in the past, the product has been good. I just hope someone is aware that donuts do have a time limit on them and shouldn't be sold when they are far beyond this time.

Service was very speedy and good. Variety of donuts was superb. We had the apple fritter....AMAZING!! A must try. The fruity pebbles donut, expected to be too sweet and it was not...perfectly sweet and delicious. Butterfinger donut on the other hand...far too sweet for my liking but that's always a matter of personal taste. What prompted my 4 star vs 5 star rating is the milk. Now I realize this is not an establishment that focuses on milk however who doesn't enjoy a nice glass of milk with donuts! I was really looking forward to a nice milk with my donuts. The milk they serve is a dairy free..thin almost soy tasting milk. My only suggestion would be to serve REAL milk. Otherwise...definitely somewhere to visit while in the area for a delicious donut

I usually love this place! But today I watched as teenagers picked up and glazed and dipped donuts with their bare hands....I'm sure the owner requires then to wash BUT I don't want to eat a donut where bare hands have been all over the finished product, at least use tongs or gloves...that's just not sanitary in my opinion. They could have a cut or any other virus on their hands...and while it may be common sense to not touch food if you are ill, not everyone has that common sense. I love these donuts way more than Krispy Kreme but they do where gloves there.

I drove all the way from Woodstock to Pelham bc I wanted a variety of donuts like you see in the pics on here. I was very disappointed that there really was not much of a variety. I did get some maple bacon ones and chocolate covered ones but I wanted some like butterfinger, m&m, apple pie, etc. like they had when the donut joes was open in Bessemer on Morgan Road. They had so many to choose from. The Pelham location was nothing like they advertise on here. I only bought a few bc I had already drove all that way. I will not be back!!

Visited the Pelham, AL store today for the first time. Staff was not very helpful and the cool varieties you see here on Facebook just aren't available. I was actually told by an employee "what you see is what you get" when inquiring about the red velvet donuts. Not a great first experience and probably won't be back :(

What kind of employer treats their employees like trash and throws bottles of chocolate at them and then to have the audacity to fire the girl because she was "insubordinate" for taking up for herself? It's a good thing it was not me because insubordination would have been the least of your worries. I will NEVER step foot back into your establishment and I will spread the word as to how you treat people. I will pray for you to be less of an angry and hostile person as well �

Well, technically we didn't taste anything. We stopped by after school for the 'advertised' coffee and donuts. However, there was no coffee. I was told the coffee pots were retired for the day.

Huh? You have a big flashing HOT COFFEE sign... Your facebook boast of these great coffees. Yet you "retire" your coffee pots (at the very least) 3 hours before you close.

At any rate, it was a further drive, but I got coffee; Krispy Kreme knows how it's done!
