My visit to Above The Rim Espresso was a rollercoaster of emotions. The mocha I ordered was great, but the barista forgot my friend's order. Oops! They made it up with some free pastries, though. So, mixed feelings but willing to give it another shot.

The coffee was good, not great, but the homemade muffins were divine. The place had a cozy, lived-in feel that made me want to sit and read for hours. The staff were nice, but they seemed overwhelmed with the orders.
