Wow I’ve never seen so many horrible reviews. I love this place. Been stopping here on road trips for about 10 years. On the way up for breakfast and on the way back for lunch or dinner, and pie to take home. Every time I was never there more than 45 minuets, seated served and checked out. Love their food.

We celebrated Fathers Day and Birthday there and had a large group, they were very accommodating and we were able to make reservations. The food was very good and we even got a free piece of pie “yummy “.

Love that place and we’ll be back.

We arrived on with no reservation on Mother’s Day, which resulted in a 20-minute wait. But the cherry pie a la mode and coconut cream for my partner were both to die for. Our only complaint was they’d run out of lemon meringue, which was my partner’s first choice. Otherwise, two full thumbs up.

The pie really is that good!

Had breakfast there and food and staff were great. Left with pecan pie and blueberry crumble. The waitress said “I threw a fork in with your to go pies in case they don’t make it back home.’ She was right!

Pies aside, the beef brisket plate I had was the best beef brisket I have ever had, and I have had a LOT of beef brisket.

The brisket was so tender, that a knife was superfluous.

Also, our server Ann Marie was a lot of fun, kidding and joking with our group.

My husband and I were visiting Sedona last March and stayed in Phoenix (just found this on Facebook and decided to write a review!). On our way to a hike, we decided to stop at Rock Springs and get some lunch. The venue is pretty cool and down to earth! The wait time for our food was a little long but the food definitely made up for it! We each got some sort of dessert and I got the blueberry-boysenberry pie I belive (can someone correct me on this, I need to know so I can make it at home!!!!). I WAS IN HEAVEN. I had the vanilla bean ice cream on top and it was just absolutely perfect. Hands down the best pie I have ever had in my life. We can't wait to visit again!!

It was absolutely delicious , from the starters skin potatoes, sweet potatoes fries and then main course cranberry walnut salad, I had them add diced tomato and cucumber and grilled chicken my daughter had the Cobb salad amazing , my husband had the pot pie delicious and by son had the Huckabee burger from kids meal . The dessert chocolate pie to die for totally homemade , we even bought one to go .

I love Rock Springs, great food (the Wild Turkey sandwich and homemade potato chips) good drinks, good service and love the farmers market, bought huge beautiful tomatoes and some fresh peaches!

Food is food, but these pies are worth the stop. I live in IL, but always need a pie fix when in Phoenix.

Was a great breakfast...cherry pie and coffee. Loved it.

Excellent place to eat and stay with your RV with Harvest Hosts or with their permission. Their Honey Chicken is great and so is their fish fry. Many great pies to pick from too. Friendly, laid back atmosphere and dog friendly on their patio. Staff is helpful and friendly. We will go back!

Breakfast was great and large portions....all food was good Except the scrambled eggs could have been a little more moist and were somewhat dry There are three sections to eat in the first one is to the left of the cashier and then there are two rooms to the right. The server we had yesterday was in the second room to the right and she was absolutely incredible, extremely kind, very personable and attentive and accommodating and her waitress service was impeccable.

This was my third time eating there, the only disappointment is I like to eat in the room to the left of the register (have only been able to eat in that section one time). There were open tables but apparently they didn’t have enough servers in that area which was disappointing because I like the atmosphere and the set up better.

I would encourage them to get servers so that the left of the registers section can be used, as I was even willing to wait for that section but it was a definite no.

Awesome spot with incredible food and atmosphere! Excellent service as well. It was a long wait to get in and get seated, as the hostess station seemed overwhelmed and only had one person working to handle the crowd. Other than that one issue, it was a beautiful place to walk around and shop.

We’ve been stopping there for years on our way home from up north and loved the pie! Went for dinner once and shared the table with a couple of roaches, so no more meals. They claimed the roaches were due to construction. Service was never great but pie always was. Took some friends for a road trip last night for pie and was so terribly disappointed and a bit embarrassed. The cream pies were awful. About 20% filling and 80% cream, which had a fake sweetener taste and odd texture, as if the cream were about to break. Couldn’t even finish it. The coffee had no flavor either. At those prices, you’ve gotta do better than that! What happened???

Went for Easter Brunch. First and last time, it wasn't good. Walked in and were told right off the bat that they were out of pies for the rest of the day (it was 11:30 in the morning). The brunch was poorly prepared, biscuits were so hard you couldn't even cut through them, potatoes were mush, fruit and pastries were cooking in the sun, but at least the ham was ok. Very disappointed overall.

I think this place used to be really good. Unfortunately the last several times we were in, the pies tasted so dry and commercial. The servers in the north and seem really nice but the servers in the restaurant/bar and are never very friendly. The buffet for Easter this year was so subpar and $90 for four people was an on fair price for one pass through the line. We had reservations but there was only one table left. Waited in line for over 45 minutes for an omelette which was incorrect. Brisket was tough and chewy and lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were a combination of soup and chunks . After you pay $22 for the breakfast you still have to buy your MImosa or Bloody Mary..... Ice tea and powdered lemonade is included. I did not see water anywhere though. The place has a great atmosphere but you have to decide whether you want tasty food or good atmosphere.

I moved to Black Canyon City, and finally Tried Rock Springs Cafe. I hate to complain but I just have to do this, I just had a slice of key lime pie, and it was the worst I've ever had. The bottom was soggy, and couldn't even taste the lime. I still want to go back there at least once and try the food, and maybe a different pie, but don't bother with the Key Lime, it was horrible.

The brisket was drowning in BBQ sauce not to mention tough, and the peach pie I got and the rhubarb pie my Mom got had crust that was not baked and the filling was absolutely out of the preserve jars they sell. A fresh peach pie would have smaller peach slices so they cook, these slices were huge. Worst pie I have EVER had!!!! For a place that claims to have the best pie, they sure have lowered their standards to that of a bad cafeteria.

Terrible , my wife and I stopped there on our way to Prescott for r

The day , when into the cafe and got seated right away, fine n dandy we thought, I ordered 2 waters and a Dr pepper the waitress brought out 1 water n 1 Dr pepper , hmmmm asked her at least 5 times for the 2nd water ,,, never got it , the waitress seemed like she didn't care one iota about service, so now after waiting to come back to take our order we do . My wife orders the chicken salad with no green chilies and the black bean side order , no green chilies either, ,y self it was a cheeseburger and we wait n wait n wait , her salad comes out it has tortillas in it , she can't eat them , the black bean side has chilies in them, she sends the salad back asking for one with no crushed tortilla chips in it , we think ok fine right ????? They bring back the same salad with the crushed tortilla chips back in it in a different colored bowl ,,,, wtf
