We ate here yesterday, I am from Houston. Never have I had a chicken fried steak sandwich so good. Thick, juicy and awesome. best fried pickles Ive ever had. Not only was the food great the people were wonderful, the owner Marla even stopped by the table and visited with us. Like we were dining at home. Our waitress was so sweet with our kids and great service.. Even the cooks visited with us. I will for sure go back and highly recommend you stop by.

Super laid back atmosphere with great service and excellent food. Just ate some delicious fried mushrooms and a killer chicken fried steak!!

Couple cold brews topped it off.

I’ve been on 3 different Continents, 6 County Fairs, 2 World Fairs and a annual Goat Roping contest and all B.S. aside, The Back Door Café in Roosevelt, TX has the best Cheeseburger I’ve ever had in my LIFE!!!

Great food and country charm makes this a must visit place while traveling through Roosevelt, TX. If you're in the mood for just a juicy burger and fries or you want something a little more substantial, like a perfectly cooked your way ribeye steak, this is the place to refuel and recharge!

Awesome Burger and I love the fried pickles, nice casual atmosphere and good wait staff!

The brisket and sausage I had for dinner last night was very very good!!!

Amazing atmosphere, incredible service, and fantastic food! I have not had this much fun at dinner (and a show!!) in years! I can't wait to go back!

Great little place to grab a quick, casual bite to eat! Super friendly staff, hearty portions, great prices, and excellent quality! Had a delicious Reuben sandwich with fried pickles and fried mushrooms! Yum!!!! Town of Roosevelt has a population of 14 people and is only about a mile off the freeway. Worth the stop!
