Sweet Basil Gourmetware & Cooking School Description

Sweet Basil Gourmetware & Cooking School opened in 1993 in a small space that could accommodate 12 people for a cooking class. Five years later, Sweet Basil moved three doors north to a much larger space with room for 14 students hands-on classes; 26 students for demonstrations. Sweet Basil makes the fun of cooking and entertaining come alive. Shop in the store and discover an amazing variety of items for cooking, entertaining and gift giving!

Took my parents to celebrate their birthdays and we had a great time!! The food was delicious and Chef Lisa Brisch was wonderful and we all learned so much!

This was a lot of fun. I went with my husband and 2 young adult sons. We all enjoyed it. Great for couples, a group of friends and even a nice place to take out of town guests. The kitchen was clean, well stocked and the staff were very helpful. I will definitely go again.

First experience at Sweet Basil. Cake decorating is not easy. The chef, Melissa was terrific and very patient. Her assistant Pam, well that is another story. Rude, not patient and not encouraging. Every time I brought a utensil to my section, she would take it away when my back was turned. Mentioned this to the lady up front and she apologized several times. Informed me that the cake decorating class is a very different set up than the cooking classes. So I guess I will try again and take a cooking class before I give up on this place completely.
