We stopped by for brunch today. Charles ordered the ham and asparagus frittata and I had the sausage and mushroom frittata. Both delicious! We shared a wonderfully gooey caramel roll and bought two monster cookies for the road (all yummy!). The restaurant has a laid-back, comfortable vibe, and we love the fact that the old bank vaults and teller windows are incorporated into the decor. We opted to sit indoors, but the back patio would be a pleasant place to linger on a less humid day. The food is excellent, prices are very reasonable, the owner is delightful and the ambience is cozy. We'll definitely return!

We come almost weekly to The Vault and it never disappoints. Infact sometimes I have to come twice. This cafe is better than anything around. They are so catering towards dietary things and kids. Love it!

WONDERFUL customer service! My daughter and I stopped in after hearing so much about the watermelon lemonade. It was Thursday and they were not planning on serving it until the weekend. After hearing we stopped just for the watermelon lemonade, they had the supplies so they made up a batch for us--delicious! Also had some of the chocolate turtle cookies. Can't wait to stop back again. Another gem for Gilbert.

Visited today for the first time. I had the breakfast tacos with chorizio, it was wonderful! The strawberry french toast was delicious also!! Thoughtfully decorated (I love the soda fridge was a sewing machine) and I even loved the music. Can't go wrong with Van Morrison :) Look forward to visiting again soon!

This is a perfect breakfast spot for families with young kids. Great service, delicious food, and a little kitchen playset to keep the little diners busy. We will definitely be back!!

The food & beverages were all amazing (we had the mushroom panini, monkey bread, a mango black tea, & iced coffee drink), the staff were super friendly, and the building itself was really cool. We'll definitely be back and would certainly recommend.

Stopped in for a quick lunch during the June Junk Jaunt. The building looks beautiful, and the food was equally fantastic. Loved the flavors of the wrap, and the watermelon lemonade was super refreshing. The macaroni salad I had as a side was super simple, but super delish. I will definitely be back!

So, so good. Breakfast was amazing. The chiliquillas were to die for. Everything was so good. The coconut mocha coffee - yum! This is a hidden gem

Nicely designed restaurant in an old bank, leveraging many of the original architectural elements, including teller windows for the order counter. I was thrilled to see gluten free options, including the fact that the minestrone was made pasta free, where those who want pasta can add after the fact. My panini sandwich was excellent. I will definitely dine there again if I'm ever in the area!

My mom and I stopped for lunch last Saturday. The food was delicious and presentation and service was great. I love what they have done to the interior and patio as well. So glad to have something like this in Gilbert.

I stopped in today and ordered the watermelon lemonade and Passion Fruit Chiffon pie. Both were amazing and unique. I have never had anything like either of them and I LOVED them both. The shop owner is super sweet. I can't wait to go back and try the sandwiches! The shop is cute and well decorated. Love that it was an old bank that has been made new again. Thanks for a great experience!

I ordered an assortment of small desserts to serve at a meeting. Each one was scrumptious! Amanda had them ready for me on a Monday morning (a day they usually are not open). She was so accommodating and helpful- even made some gluten free options. Excellent service and food!

I had a chance to have lunch at The Vault today, and it was EXCELLENT. I tried the bacon, turkey, and egg panini which had such a perfect balance of flavor. I also had the watermelon lemonade which was insanely refreshing. The workers and owners are wonderful people, and I'd highly recommend anybody to check this place out.

I eat at The Vault at least once a week. Every time I think they can’t top my last lunch, they do. Everything is so fresh and the flavors are delicious. They currently hold the title for my favorite Reuben and potato soup ever after my meal today. I’ve never had anything I didn’t absolutely love. Such a hidden gem!

I dined at The Vault today with three friends! I had the torta and it was delicious! The combination of ingredients in the sandwich was just perfect! One of my friends ordered the cream pie-a mango with something else cream pie and it was out of this world delicious! The building itself is a cute setting for a restaurant, and the two women running the restaurant were very nice! I will definitely go back!

Had Sunday brunch there today. Extremely nice people, lovely decor and great food! We had the bacon/mushroom frittata and the ham/asparagus frittata, both equally delicious. We are thinking this may become a regular spot for Sunday morning!

Consistently one of the best and most inventive restaurants in the greater Ames area in Iowa. The amazing entrees change weekly, and always include vegetarian and gluten-free options. The quaint atmosphere belies the sophistication of the menu, which puts an interesting spin on everything the chef makes. Well worth the trip to Gilbert!

Awesome place!! We had the quesadilla and our two boys shared the French toast. The food was delicious and there was even a play kitchen with pretend pastries to keep them busy!! We also loved the watermelon lemonade and cold brew coffee!
