Today was my first day eating there... I got the Mexican Hippy Scramble!!! I am so full, & yes, it was yummy!!! I will be returning very soon!!!!

My go to place for breakfast or a burger when I work at Wally's across the street. I love Stacey, Linda and Carla too. Albert's is a small long time business in Alameda. I used to eat there in high school in late 80's

I have been going to Albert's for about 13 years. When I met my wife, Frances Martinez, we started going together. Then our grrrlz were born and they came with us. There is NO better place on the island for breakfast. Great staff, great food, great prices, clean, never greasy and NEVER a wait. 5 stars is too few if you ask me.

I an from Alameda .. been overseas 10 years I came back and behold Albert's cafe a sanctuary .. hippie breakfast the best .. been coming here since 1973. The Wild Bob

Had the Guillermo! With the hippie mix on top of my hash browns.. Theee best Mexican style breakfast I've ever had...and I eat out for breakfast on the regular all over northern and central California. Tasted like home. Truth!

Albert's is hands down THE best place for breakfast in town. Try the hippie breakfast, you won't be sorry.

Albert's makes a truly phenomenal crispy waffle, easily the best on the island if not the Bay Area. It's $3. Hanson's house coffee, the staff is regular and friendly, and it's not usually crowded, but the first two sentences should be enough.

I enjoyed the food but the service was HORRIBLE...slow and the sever just short of being rude...we had to ask for parts of our several times.
