This place is more than just a place to eat and drink, they treat you like family! The food is excellent and the staff is above average. Nico and Amanda have done an amazing job creating a place for people to meet, have events or just stop in and say hi for a quick happy hour drink!

This place does not advertise because word by mouth brings in scores of La Jolla customers, regulars, and friends! You never have to wait for a seat because there are endless places to sit a party of any size inside or outside on the amazing sprawling deck with couches and countless tables spread out and an ocean view in the distance. There's really no other place like it in terms of location, authentic Italian food from an Italian chef owner, and drinks at any hour (: It is definitely the go to place to repeat over and over again for meetings, parties, and bringing your favorite out of town guests!! Definitely family friendly. Thank you, Amanda and Nico!

Stopped in for Wine and appetizers. Sorry I had dinner reservations elsewhere. The meals looked great here! Enjoyed the Brazilian jazz inside last night, with a beautiful view of the sunset over Torrey Pines. I'll be back to check out their dinner menu....and hopefully warmer weather for music on the outdoor patio this Spring/Summer!

My son Austin lives down the street and it's his favorite! Better reserve a table if you want to dine al fresco. Had several high quality meals there and they treat my grandkids fabuloso!

It's very nice. Stylish place. Parking is confusing. Just remember your number and enter in the machine by the staircase. You don't need to put the receipt in car. Pay for 2 hours.



I got the Azteca salad. Excellent, that salad is not a good choice for business meetings. As it's difficult to eat. Stick to something with bite size pieces.

I love this place. My favorite is to go listen to the music and have some of their awesome food. Just got back from hearing Terry Matsuoka aka The Ingredients and they were great!!! Sunset was gorgeous, temperature was just right, food was delicious! Will be back hopefully next time Terry plays!

Great location, awesome spacious spot, friendly environment and good menu :) Cheese & meet plate was delicious! Truffle parmesan fries we're yummy and homemade tasty too.

Good, clean food, and excellent view/location! I ordered and omelette and it was fantastic. Not greasy at all. My son had the Nutella/bananas crepes, which he absolutely loved, as well as an Acai bowl. I would definitely come back when in this area.

Bella Vista is a hidden gem of La Jolla/ San Diego! Food, drinks, and views are awesome, with always friendly servers. An interesting combination of dishes and desserts. Good for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Great place to bring a visitor on the weekend brunch and not wait for the service!!!

P.S. Ask for mimosa special!

Ate here for the first time today. I got the Bella Vista pannini - proscuttio, brie & fig jam...yum! I got it with the salad and really loved the house dressing. I will definitely be going back!

Great food, fabulous view, parking. Really nice. Planning to go again when I'm in town.
