Everyone at The Blue Mug is super welcoming & nice. They truly have great coffee & other options. But the owner is a Beautiful Ray of Sunshine! That's why we drive from Rancho Peñasquitos to our Favorite Coffee Spot. You can take your family there, relax, talk, hang out & just have a great experience! Blue Mug is #1☕

Great Coffee, but still lacking a bit on my DRY, BONE DRY Cappuccino, even though i have given them countless chances. However, regardless of that, this is a wonderful coffee shop. Owner, very cordial and they support the police, the military, etc.....

By far the best place to grab a cup of coffee in North County. They do pour overs and have a great selection of beans that they grind fresh for each cup. Service is always quick and friendly as well.

Extremely polite and courteous employees...and personally thanked me by name when the my coffee was brought to my table. The hearty french roast coffee was enjoyable. Also, thanks for the Love America tab...spot on!

I would give more stars if I could. I always study here after class and the vibes are super positive. The drinks and food are great at a reasonable price and even though a ton of people come through in the morning, it's still a very pleasant place to be. The staff is more than amazing which adds to the experience. Would highly recommend The Blue Mug.

Adding a shot or two to their blended ice coffee is very flavorful without being bitter. Fun staff, mellow atmosphere, and fair prices.

Customer service is definitely top notch. Very friendly and helpful. I noticed that as people came in, the baristas actually knew or remembered them - impressive. This creates a very nice ambience. I love all the quotes they have on the wall. Menu is simpler than your typical coffee place but the cappuccino and tea we ordered were delicious. It is definitely worth the trip.

It's a really sweet atmosphere, with cute quotes hanging from the walls, phenomenal staff, and best of all, the lifeblood of millions, coffee. And it's good stuff, too! They also offer tea, and multiple foodie items, like pastries and yogurts. Best of all, there's lots of locals always there to chat and hang out, so it's homey, too! Great place for writing. I recommend you go!

Literally any drink they make with lavender in it is a little piece of heaven. I've asked Starbucks and even other small coffee places for similar drinks and they can't compete with Blue Mug.

Forget that trendy franchise coffee place you find taking up valuable space in the grocery store. Go to this place, meet real people who are friendly and get a real cup of coffee. Support your local business!

Enjoyed a work from home day at Blue Mug Coffee & Tea.
The wifi is great and the wrap + soup lunch combo was delicious and flavorful.
I love the people who work here. I think it was Blue Mug Coffee & Tea that brought my food out to my table and the folks in the back feel like good honest people. Warm smiles, genuine care... it's like all the issues in the world disappeared. So many "Thank Yous" so many gestures of appreciation for patronizing. I love it.
I hope this place stays around for a while and that higher rents don't kick them out. We need businesses like these to keep the area charming and special.
