Awesome food and a very colorful ambience. Great place for breakfast or brunch. The severs are also quite friendly. I hadn’t quite tried a lot of Brazilian food until now. While most dishes here are great, I particularly liked the Polenta. It’s such a simple dish but oh so delicious.

The Food:
The food here was mediocre, but still tasted okay. The portions were good, there was plenty there to eat. The flavor on my food was lacking. I think that if the flavor could be spruced up, the food would be very good here.

The Ambiance:
It was very cramped in there and it was a bit tough to move around if there was anyone else in the area. The servers are always bustling by and if you move your chair out, you have to be mindful of anyone moving around you.

The Service:
Service was great. They were attentive and we were very happy with our server.

Been here a few of times and the food is always great! Service personnel aren't the most attentive but the minimum requirements are usually met. Have seen flies in here every time I've been. Has a great feel inside and you are very lucky if you can find the place without a huge wait. Would recommend to anyone who hasn't been here.

The food was great. This place needs an experienced front of house manager. To go orders were pouring out the door while people waited 45 minutes for a seat while tables were constantly empty. The parking lot could be converted into nice patio seating, the value of 4 parking spots compared to tables seems like an obvious improvement. The front and side waiting areas are full of people that could be sitting at tables. The kitchen has the capacity but the front of house can't keep tables full.

Horrible service. Arrived at 2:20 and was waiting for the rest of my party (they will not seat until entire party is present). I asked the host if my party would still be able to be seated as long as they arrived by 3pm. I was assured that would be "no problem" as long as we were on the list which we were. At 2:56 my entire party was present but I was told they were no longer seating and we could order to go only. Manager apparently doesn't stand behind promises the desk hosts make.

Pricey and long wait for breakfast. The food is about what you would expect from an independent breakfast place. I've been to brazil and it's not as authentic as they make it seem. I've been here several times and received bad service and attitude from a server one time for returning a fatty steak when she wanted me to pay for it.

Only had the acai bowl: Underwhelmed. The bananas were overripe and the only other fruit was strawberries...and for the price, not a great portion. We have a place closer to home called Vitality Bowls, and that place tastes better and is a better value.

Our first time trying Brazilian, & I liked this place. However, the steak we got was on the small side, & the sides were large.
We both ordered beef, and I liked my cebolado, but hubby didn't care for his.
It was a bit on the bland side for our taste, but not a deal breaker for me. Next time we use the hot sauce provided, and he can get one of the dishes with black beans.

This was a lovely little cafe in the heart of Santa Cruz. I went to breakfast with my boyfriend, and we are vegan and vegetarian. They had a good number of options considering they don't advertise as vegetarian. The tofu scramble was very flavorful, and my boyfriend loved the potato scramble breakfast special. The service is attentive and friendly. Coffee was refilled as needed! We would love to revisit this cafe next time we are in Santa Cruz.

Love the Brazilian breakfast options as well as the banana pancakes. Wait times can be very long on the weekend and not worth an hour wait.

Wonderful unpretentious place with excellent affordable food and great service. The friendly staff serves breakfast, lunch and delicious smoothies. We always feel welcome and trying to make a point to stop by when we are in Santa Cruz.

The place has a simple and pleasant atmosphere. We had the traditional Feijoada dish. It was fine. The second dish was a dish with cod fish which was not good. The fish was super salty and it is served with rice and Forafa with no sauce so it's a very dry dish, feels like it could really use some sauce. To be fair, I haven't had Brazilian food before so maybe that's how it is typically served as far as the components but the saltiness is just wrong. We also had two fruit drinks which were both rather tasteless.
