Wow, where do I begin! First, off the word thank you, is just not a big enough word of how my husband Lonnie, and I feel. We felt so much love and care from Jennifer & Mark to make our daughter Halle and son in law Evan's wedding so beautiful and perfect on 9/24/2016



Jennifer (owner) was so easy and kind to work with. As busy as she is, she always got back to us in a timely manner.



Mark you, your wife, and your team on Saturday was just AMAZING!!



Everything, was just PERFECT!!!



From your professionalism, to attention to detail, and friendliness was right on point.



The food was fabulous! Everyone said how delicious it was and what generous portions were given.

We don't have to many decent places to eat in El Sobrante and this place is the best! Fresh Food and they have a healthy place on menu. Try it, you'll like it!!!

Three years ago, someone recommended a friend and I to give their burgers a try, so we did, and they were very delicious. Because I didn't live in the area at the time, I couldn't go back for more. Once I established my finances a bit, that same friend and I went back yesterday for their breakfast platter, which never failed to satisfy me. Though the restaurant was full, their service was excellent and the food was very filling and good. I would definitely recommend This place to anybody.

This is not my first review. I wanted to say this place is the best we got. The waitress's and waiters and cooks really work their butts off and they always give great service. The food is awesome. The only complaint I have is I wish it had carpet and booths to help with noice reduction. It's kind of hard to have a conversation. And it's always crowded. But I recommend it

The food is amazing! Service does the best that they can but plz keep in mind its a small shop and always packed to the brim and then some.

I highly recommend any breakfast item on the menu its all excellently prepared and tatse so good!

Small lil shop in a corner of a small shopping center, parking sucks and theres usually a wait. But its sooooo worth it

My son and I were looking for a quick but tasty place to get Mother's Day brunch before going to the Warriors game. He told me to check what my phone recommended. Up popped Cafe Soleil . We ended up at the buffet which was fabulous!! Great service and the food was delicious!! It won't be our last trip.

My husband and I used Jennifer as our caterer for our wedding. When we first reached out to Jennifer we were amazed at her friendliness and experience. We had some not so great experiences before we found her. Upon first meeting we decided that she was the one to help us with our wedding. Jennifer let us taste some of the food at the restaurant and we were hooked! All the food we tried was delicious! Especially the ravioli! You must try it. Unbelievable. One thing that I loved about Jennifer was her calmness. As many know, planning a wedding is stressful enough. Jennifer always had solutions to problems and was a great calming force. The wedding went off without a hitch. Her staff was amazing. Friendly, always smiling, and just all around fun people. The food was perfect and her presentation was awesome. Jennifer also worked with my sister in law who wanted to help with some of the planning. I was really impressed that she did that; many people wouldn't. She was also respectful of cultural differences and allowed us to bring a cultural dish to the event.

I would recommend her to any and all who want a great planner and great food at their wedding. We really enjoyed Jennifer and her staff and will visit her restaurant again. Check them out!!

My husband and I love the food at cafe soleil, so when we found out that they not only cater but the price was affordable, it was a no brainer deciding on who would cater our wedding. Jennifer is so amazing; she helped me with any questions I had while I was planning and had great suggestions. Not only did she make our reception beautiful, her staff was so kind and helpful. Whatever we needed, they were on top of it. We got so many compliments on the food from our guests. I would recommend cafe soleil fr any catering event.

My family found Cafe Soleil from the recent caterers at the Brazil Room at Tilden Park in Berkeley and immediately connected with Jen! Jen and Cecee made it so easy with communication and being able to cater to what we wanted on my wedding day. The food was one of the main things people raved about and they went above and beyond with helping. Jen told us multiple times that she just wanted to help make the day easier for my family and I and they did exactly that. As well, they put platters of food into my husband & I's car so just in case we could eat more later! I recommend this catering company and restaurant to everyone now. I consistently dream about eating this food again.

Jennifer is simply amazing.



We recently got married in San Rafael and she worked to coordinate our small but complex (well, it was to us!) arrangement. She's such a lovely person to work with and always made me feel like things were going to work out..and they did! I often told her she had an amazing ability to calm me down and get me excited at the same time. Everyone commented on how smoothly the wedding and reception went. Her staff was efficient, quick and consistently met the needs of the guests. Decor..perfect; the little touches here and there were noticed. She has an eye so trust her. I want to thank Jennifer and her team again! Do not hesitate to hire Cafe Soleil for your wedding or catering events. They are SO worth it!

Jen and team catered my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Their input and assistance throughout the planning process was amazing as well, they contqcted all the necessary vendors and also helped with recommendations. I can’t say enough great things about this catering company! They are hands down, THE BEST! They’re food is amazing and Jennifer (the owner) will go above and beyond for you. As busy as she is, she makes herself available whenever you need her. Not to mention how generous she is as well as affordable. She offered to let me use any decorations she has accumulated from other weddings at no extra charge. Her motto is “every bride should have the wedding of their dreams” and she truly wants to help make that happen. Our wedding was two weeks ago and people are still letting me know how great the food and staff were. I have 2 friends who have also used her catering services and we all give her a 5 star rating! You won’t be disappointed! At the very least, go check out her restaurant (Café Soleil) in El Sobrante and try their breakfast (or anything for that matter!) Everything on the menu is excellent! My favorite is the porcini mushroom raviolis in a marsala sauce. YUM! See ya soon Jen!

Food was good, service was excellent and our family group of eight, which included two little ones, thoroughly enjoyed the small, cozy atmosphere. Sunday brunch does have quite a wait - no reservations. House red wine was good, if you like dry.

Took about 10 minutes to get a menu cuz "they ran out". Finally the runner grabbed our drink order and never brought creamer for the coffee. Grabbed one of the next table. 2 waitresses for a packed house, I just don't get it. Usually an owner or manager is supposed to step in. Food took another 15 min and was not what we got before. The waitress did take the drinks off since we waited so long. Won't be back.

Had breakfast there. Grits not cooked, sent back. New bowl, grits watery. Bowl also had chips all around it. Had to ask for another bowl. Tried to eat the grits but couldn't. Refused to send the grits back again. Everything else was OK. Not sure if I would come back again. Will not order grits.
