The ideal, no gimmick coffee shop of our age. Visible bean roaster in the back and a delicious product!

Highly recommend this place if you want quality coffee. Great owner, wonderful staff and the best coffee I've had!

Small place with great coffee. Not a lot of options, but what they offer is great.

Fantastic coffee and service - they taste test their own stuff and are very polite. I stopped in to do some morning work (or procrastinate) while waiting for traffic to blow over and was happily surprised by what came in the cup. I found it a fine place to work in the morning; plenty of seats and chill music at this hour.

Kicking place. Great coffee and great interior. Very pleasing to look at and employees are chill.

Loved out date here! Defiantley one of the best coffee shops in the area. Baristas enjoy their job, communicate with guests and add love to their drinks. Would recommend this place as well as the amazing dishes.

Update: now everyone who works here just has additude. Go to the other one for great customer service.

Great coffee, service, and location. They are always doing different art installations which I love to see. They have milk alternatives available as well, and some great treats. Would give them five stars but they don't carry any gluten free snacks.

Good service. Knowledgeable about their coffee. Sad that discovered on last few days in town. Had a wonderful slightly sour coffee.

Really wonderful little place. at least when I came there was just one nice woman behind the counter pleasantly and charmingly serving very delicious beverages (at least my iced coffee was) in a small but tidy little shop. I was second in line at 10a. not sure what this place would be like if it were busy. but it sure is nice here. I'm sitting outside the cafe at a little table on a beautiful morning while I'm writing this. very much recommend.

Second time we've come at 7:20 and they're closed. I wasted time walking over here when I could have just walked to cafe Madeline down the street. All you need to do is list your correct hours. This is the last time I give this place a chance.

Very cool spot — similar to some more hip LA cafes, which I feel like are a bit tougher to come across in San Diego. Great coffee and tea drinks (and pastries), super friendly service, plenty of space to hang out, cool merchandise.

Great location. Great coffee options. Great staff. Pretty good interior design, set back by loud noises inside, but charmed by the genuine friendliness of the staff

Tea and service were fine, though selection was limited. This is also not a good place to sit and work--way too small and too cramped. Atmosphere is very sterile. I would probably come back here if I was in the neighborhood and just wanted a drink, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back since I prefer a homier atmosphere.
