Food is always good. Homey little spot with consistent service and neat coffee bar. Really amazing variety of vegetarian options (thank the lord for a vegetarian BLT). Fantastic açaí bowl—in my opinion better than their sister restaurants Swamis down the road. They can poach an egg to perfection. It can get crazy busy in the mornings on weekends, so don’t gripe about a not so perfect poached egg during these times. Their plates are funky shaped, which is a meager complaint.

Food was cold and service was the bare minimum. Ordered California Benedict. The eggs were well done not done well. .the yokes did not run at all and they were only warm. The potatoes were room temp upon arrival.

This an order at the counter they bring the food to you place. That is all they do. The guy who dropped off my food made it seem like a chore and that I was just making more work for him.

Would be one star but they have a fantastic selection if coffee flavors and blends.

My bar is low - Warm food and the hint of a smile would have made this five stars.

Took my boyfriend's mom here and it was delicious. You pay at the register when you order which was a bit different for us expecting a sit down place, but we didn't mind. We both got the eggs, potatoes, and steak which was perfect. Exactly how I like steak and cut so easily. I also got the coconut pineapple pancakes which were also delicious.

Favorite brunch in La Mesa. I am a frequent diner. The stuffed French toast is heavenly. Clean environment, super friendly staff and management, cozy atmosphere. I wish mimosas were available for brunch but the coffee specialty drinks are a delicious substitute.

It was a little crowded but service was good and the food came out REALLY fast!!! They have a big selection of food and the it's good quality! Kid friendly and fresh squeezed juice. Don't let the outside look fool you. It's honestly going to be our new spot.

Great variety of food and cofee! Portions are really big and service is pretty fast. Good luck finding a place to sit though...

The food was delicious! I had the Bistro veggie Benedict and raspberry banana pancakes. Wait staff is friendly, food came promptly. The coffee is superb and many varieties to choose from. Will definitely come again 11/10

this is a good little place just out of the mix of downtown La Mesa, but still close to everything. I ordered a Belgian waffle.. It came out quick and was done perfectly. I would have preferred a bit more malt in the mix but it was just fine as is. You have to order from the counter but they give you a number and bring the food out to you once its ready.

This is the place to eat in La Mesa for Lunch and Breakfast. Amazing food and the coffee bar is a plus. It can get crowded, but it's worth it.

Best place to get breakfast or lunch if you're in the area. Everything is great except for the pancakes (small and flat). Lots of coffee choices to choose from, even organic. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful.

Best breakfast in town. The wait can be long but it's always worth it.

Very good food and service. Worth the long wait if you have the time. The açai bowl is top notch.
