Today I used Merengue to cater my sister in laws bridal shower. We had muffins, Danishes, potato balls, croquets, meat pies and mini cupcakes. Everything was absolutely delicious and a huge hit at the party! My order was exactly what I asked for and was ready on time--the staff even helped me load it in my car in the rain! I will absolutely use Merengue again and will be in to get the goodies I'm now addicted to!

This is a great place! The cakes taste amazing not to mention that the owner is very accommodating and professional.. will definitely recommend this place.

Picked up alot of different things for New Years Eve, mostly everything was delicious, except for the mini eclair, it was a little gummy and the ham croquettes was missing something, maybe just an off day as everything else was delicious!!

My fianc├® and I were there yesterday for cake tasting and we were treated great!!! Ricky attended us and made us feel like family. He was very attentive and very professional! He gave us many suggestions and helped us decide how our wedding cake would look elegant! The samples that we tried were delicious ­¤śŗ From now and on, we will be ordering all of our cakes from this place even though we live approximately 60 miles away! Merengue is my go to for all things cake and pastries. They have excellent customer service skills, great baking skills and always manage to out do themselves with the art pieces they create (cakes). If you want an amazing cake at an amazing price this is definitely where you want to go.

Love this place! I purchased my wedding cake from Merengues and that was 8 years ago. Till this day, people rave about how tasteful and delicious my wedding cake was and they have never tasted one like it since. Love Love this place

LetŌĆÖs just say this is my office away from home and my home away from my office ha! I go to Merengue for everything. Sometimes breakfast, sometimes just tea and a treat. A business meeting, interview, work station, family, friends and meeting new people, networking and more! Food: You can find sweet or savory here and in between. The ambiance works for just about everything. Staff is always caring and professional. Owners are approachable and warm. A family all around. ItŌĆÖs always great to go to Merengue or order anything!!

I was across the street with my grandkids for my Friday dr's appt. After we stopped for breakfast and they loved it. My grandson really enjoyed his Grill cheese breakfast and hopes to come again with his parents and two siblings ’┐Į’┐Į

First time there, I picked the cheese danish but was given the blueberry cream cheese one I ate it but sure wish I stayed with my first choice the one I had was dry and tasteless. The place is very small had to sit out front on a cold chilly day.I was glad I was with good company.

Had good food there in the past, but never great service. Yesterday, After waiting 20 minutes for my sandwich I was told it was coming right out. Yes, it was, but not what I ordered. Waited another 5 minutes, by that time had to go back to work. They eagerly packed it to go. Walked 2 doors down towards my car, turned around, and went back to get a refund. The idea of trying to eat at my desk was not very appealing, and I hate cold French fries. Yes, they gave me a refund, but of course not for the iced tea that I drank. Thought that was the icing on the cake. Will not go back for lunch.

The pastry of meat was oily. Strawberry shortcake not sweet. Cuban bread did not look Cuban. The ham croquettes had to much parsley. The famous potatoes with meat. Not as good as I remember.

I did order a cafe con leche. Done wrong. Drove 18 miles just to be let down. Not returning again. Visit Portos or Tropicana Bakery in Downey, CA better. Plus cheaper. Wasted $29 on yucky food not Cuban at all.

Pastry was delicious. Coffee bar not so good. Customer service not good. After waiting for someone to acknowledge us, we ordered 3 things: 1 reg coffee, 1 cappuccino and 1 pastry. Regular coffee is self serve which is perfectly fine. Coffee carafe ran out. I waited at least 15 minutes for someone to replace the carafe. Other people were waiting as well. Lastly, no real cream, milk, half n half, nothing. Only flavored Coffee creamer offered. To be fair, I know there are probably glitches to be worked out when you are re-opening. I will give them another chance soon.

Good pastries but not good coffee. They need to have fresh coffee all the time plus milk, half and half, and not only flavored creamers. They also need have more friendly and better trained employees

Food was okay, I ordered a sandwich and salad plus sweet potatoe fries. My bread was pretty hard to bite on and only got one little piece of red onion, definitely wasn't made with love. On top of that waited for forever to get my food. Next time I will just stick to the potatoe balls.
