Mom and pop dinner with great locals. Sandwiches were good and quick.

Excellent home cooking. Varied menu. Good value. Funky mountain ambiance! We make it a regular stop as we come up to Idyllwild.

Food is great! Great comfortable atmosphere! And the employees and owner are great! Recommended stop if your are passing by. Oh and THE PANCAKES ARE WONDERFUL!!

Amazing food and best onion rings I have had in a long while. And very friendly nice people that own and work there.

Out in the mountains, there are not many food options. However, the Mountain Center Cafe delivers. I got the full rack of ribs and ate the whole thing. This is also the first stretch of "civilization" along the Pacific Crest Trail and you can read notes left in the logbooks at the front.

My meal was tasty. It was stop for lunch. The girl explained the rules for traveling around here and the route to Fulmore Lake.

Unfortunately, my recent visit to Mountain Center Cafe left me with a sour taste in my mouth. The coffee was served cold, and the lack of hospitality at the 29470 CA-243, Mountain Center, CA 92561, USA location was disheartening. I won't be giving it a second chance.
