A wonderfully unique and relaxing coffee shop on the north side of La Jolla, hidden away from the regular visitors to the shops on Girard. Whether you have work or chatting to do, pop into Pannikin for a coffee and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. There is a ton of seating and the coffee isn't so bad either.

Great small coffee shop to relax, study, or even play chess. Has a variety of indoor and outdoor seating including tables, barstools, and benches.

Nice atmosphere with outside patio. Tasty espresso drinks and great breakfast burrito.

This is the first place I went to when I got out of jail. 6 long years behind bars and all I could think of was the hot chocolate. 6 months before I got out I was drawing mad envelopes so my boys on the outside could put cinnamon roll funds on my books you feel. Those rolls were the light at the end of the tunnel, they were what got me through my time. You know, man's not hot, but the fire food here got me sweating.

My wife and I stopped by here for coffees last Sunday while riding our bikes in the area.It was a very hot day at the beginning of our ride so we ordered an iced Hazelnut latte and an iced Mocha latte to freshen us up a bit. We enjoyed our ice cold drinks while we sat on the shaded front patio watching the odd Ferrari drive past.A couple of hours later when we had almost finished our ride we came back here to grab some lunch. My wife had a couple of tacos which she thought were ok and I had a burrito which tasted a bit bland but good enough.

One of the few places in San Diego I've been to recently where I got a distinct European vibe. I really enjoyed the old styled coffee and outdoor seating, watching the sparrows and enjoying the La Jolla scenery.

I couldn't help myself. Drank much of my latte before taking a picture. It's an awesome place-- great coffee, great service. Plus they have a Harley Davidson mounted on the wall. Wish they had something like this in LA/OC

This Place is great! They have very Good Organic coffee and some Organic soups from local vegetable. The place is very sweet and cozy. Only internet is for limited time (60min), so it is not really a working place, but it's more a hangout type of place.

Excellent, extensive selection of teas with knowledgeable staff. I had a lovely, loose - leaf Victoria Fog, expertly prepared. It is far from the choice of 4 Tazo tea bags tossed into the scalding hot water of an enormous cup that you get at many coffee establishments.

Great coffee shop. Staff is friendly. Has kept its cozy and local feel over the years. Great muffins. Awesome bookstore next door.

Good coffee shop with an eclectic menu. Definitely not your typical selections, but everything is tasty, the coffee is good, and the staff are great.

I love the Pannikin! Great food and coffee, one of the few places that doesn't burn the heck out of the coffee and scald the milk. They can make a cafe macchiato like an Italian bar.

Loads of study space and free WiFi inside and out. Very cozy and friendly atmosphere.

Note: Single toilet bathroom in a very busy place.

Great music, perky baristas and a big chess board. They only have 1 bathroom but it is huge. Nicely located near the high street and about a 10 min walk to the ocean.
