This place never disappoints. It has a bit of everything either for someone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth or someone who wants a quick bite or maybe if you got a bit more time go get some coffee with a friend. Only thing I don't like about this place that sometimes (most of the time) this place there is always a wait line.

Large space for dining and helpful employees. The parking can be free if you know which lot to go to but you'll have to a walk. Two lines for can coffee/food and another one for cakes and pastries. If you only want potato balls, go to the cafe line which is usually faster.
We ordered a wedding cake here and it was pretty affordable. The cake employees were very accommodating and helpful.

I was at Glendale Porto's yesterday afternoon...I always enjoyed the good food and service in this location but yesterday while waiting in line...
I saw one of the woman server "using her bare hands" to get the pastries and place the pastries in the bag for her customer...and she did it as if no one can see her... I'm glad that was not for me or I will not pay and accept that order.
The young man who helped me was very courteous and used plastic gloves when he handled my bread and pastries.
Porto's management please remind all servers to use gloves when handling foods:
The main reason for not touching ready-to-eat foods with bare hands is to prevent viruses and bacteria which are present in your body from contaminating the food...
State law does not require gloves to be worn, but does require that ready-to-eat food be prepared and served without bare hand contact. Wearing disposable sanitary gloves is one of several acceptable ways to comply with this law.

This place has it all, the best place for any pastry that you can imagine! Even more surprisingly is their cafe menu which is diverse and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and polite. Whether it's taking their time to explain all the different pastries, or physically taking you to different locations around their property so you're not wondering around lost, this staff is top notch. This is a must go location some of the best pastries in LA county!

This place is packed with flavor I like to come here and try new things. I always look forward to the dessert and my cold coffee beverages the only thing I don't like about this place are the long lines, however with the fast working employees I I am able to get the food faster than anticipated. I do recommend this location for everyone they have all kinds of food just for you.

A must stop for anyone visiting the L.A. area. We love the Glendale location and will always drive a minimum of 1 hour to get our coffee and sweets. Amazing service by the entire staff (we have visited about 9 times now) and I have no idea how they remember our entire order without writing it down. Cookies, muffins, cheesecake, croissants, cakes and great breakfast items always moves this place of our to-visit list when in California. Forget Starbucks, this place will not disappoint. Yes, it is worth traveling 1500 miles to bring them home! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Tip: Any cheesecake is yummy!👍

This was my first time eating at Porto's and I have to say it was a very delightful experience.
The line to order for was long but it moved quickly. There was a small crowd of people waiting to pick up drinks at the specialty drinks counter. It was to watch customers walking out with cakes they purchased at the bakery.
The employees are friendly and helpful. There's lots of good to choose from the menu. And the prices are affordable.
I had the southwest chicken salad which ended up being an entire meal in itself.
The chicken empanadas were flaky on the outside and the filling was tender and full of flavor.
You'll be quite surprised by the diverse crowd that comes to eat here. Porto's is also a great place for people watching.

Lines are out the door but you get done ordering and paying in under ten minutes. It's always packed here and for good reason. Service is amazing, never met an angry employee and they're fast. Food is amazing and cheap. The cakes are the best I've had, not too sweet and never dry. Just an over all good spot to eat.

Was recently here while on travels because it was recommended by a friend. They have a lot of goodies here. Little meat pies that have a buttery and flaky crust, potato balls that are crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside with a delicious ground meat filling. Also they have a delicious carrot cake with a twist, it has pineapple chunks!! Their sandwiches come with green plantain chips , meaning the plantain is not ripe so the chips have just the right amount of sweetness and they are super thin and crunchy.
I was there kind of early so I didn't get to choose from all the selections, some menu items are available after 10 am , others after 11 a.m. , bummer! ):

This place gets so busy , there's two sides to it. You do have to wait to be seated once you get your order number and your food gets brought to your table. Solid place (:

My Cousin brought over the balls with chicken/beef. Got to say never had anything like it!! Fabulous. Also a red velvet birthday cake. Even more scrumptious.

Well run operation. You can put their staff anywhere and they will bang knock out service. Cakes are veering too sweet but savory pastries and croquettes are excellent. Cheese rolls for dayz...

The place sells a great variety of very tasty and presentable pastry. The quality of the Cuban cakes has declined from what it used to be☹ But compare to none in the area. Cuban cake still rules although now into mass production and not as personable a treatment. The attitude is take it or leave it. Employee treat you not so good, THEY are too busy to care. 💔👎I needed a Happy Birthday written in a different color ( NOT CHOCOLATE, IS OUR FAMILY TRADITION TO DO RED) I WAS TOLD SORRY, THATS ALL WE DO😲 NO CUSTOMER SERVICE? 👎😞🙆
