Attention Dear Customers! Most of you don't know this, but our main chef and owner is battling cancer and a disease on her spine. She's been off work for 9 months now, has had major surgeries and her recovery has been taking longer than expected. Unfortunately because of this, unless we can find a solution for the restaurant to continue open, we will be closing down for a while very soon. We were just passing through and we settled on this place based on Yelp reviews, so glad we did! The food was delicious and service was great. I had the Ropa Vieja plate, my husband had the Sandwich Cubano and we order the empanadas and potato balls as well. Everything tasted great. I just wish I had more room in my stomach b/c we couldn't finish it all! Definitely worth a try!

My visits can never go wrong! Rice bean platano maduro and any of their main dishes can hit the taste buds perfectly! Plus the CS treatment surpases way beyond.. I feel like a queen when I'm here! Thank you and Blessings to all here!

I try and come once a month. This place is walking distance from my house. I love bringing new people here and having them try it. I've been to Portos in LA and this place has a better Cubano.

Had the Lechon Asado.The food was great,the service as well.My Wife said the restroom was about the cleanest she has experienced.I can attest to the dining room being spotless.

As a fellow Cuban, to find this place was a treat from heaven! A friend and I went for late lunch, and had a marvelous meal. It's been ages since I've had real Cuban-style plantains, and the steak with onions was so tasty. I left room for dessert and of course some Cuban coffee. Tummy happy, soul happy, and I can't wait to go back. Wonderful little corner of Bakersfield that makes me so happy! Riquísimo!!!!

The treatment to their customer is awful, rude & the owner has no manners. Half of the menu was unavailable. Charging extra for items listed on the menu. Puertoricans beware.

If I could put a 0 I would. Terrible service and the food was cold. Will NEVER go back. Very rude server and front person. Didn't care about how the food was cooked or replacing our order with food that was hot or the right order
