Went there for the first time and really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka plate. The chicken was so tender, moist, and well-spiced. The rice had slivered almonds and golden raisins. Had the beet salad as a side dish, which was also delicious. Only (little) complaint was the pita bread was nothing special. Definitely will return for more!

Very popular spot. Crowded on a Thursday night. I had the filet minion tikka - perfectly cooked, moist, flavorful and tender. I also enjoyed the beet and feta salad, rice, grilled vegetables and pita.

Only been a few times, but may be a new "go to" place for take out. A well staffed, well set up restaurant and the food is delicious. Especially good...the filet mignon tikka, chicken chop, potato chop, hummus and chips. All beautifully seasoned, well prepared, fresh, generous portions and reasonably priced.

I visit San Diego several times a year to visit my daughter and her family. We always make numerous stops per trip to Sahara- the food is delicious and consistent. Our favorite plates are the meat pies, chicken kabobs, salads. The lists are too long to list.

Tonight I ordered a falafel plate from Sahara via uber eats. When it arrived, it was perfect! Delicious, hot, I even got a fork and napkins without adding a note! Unfortunately, as I was eating my rice, I found two pieces of black plastic. Huge bummer!!

Not happy with how they handle the customer, 15 minutes take me to order and still brought the wrong order. At the end, they have realized and very poorly they offered the missing order. Sims that they have collected from the left over and brought me what I have paid for it.
