Foothill update: we will be back OPEN MONDAY Feb. 25 until forever... regular business hours 6:30a-6:30p. ✨thanks for hanging tight as we got things fixed up! Yesterday we received an award for Business of the Year in the 35th Assembly District from Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham! We had the honor and privilege of standing alongside 75 other small business owners and their families as each were recognized for their positive impact on their local communities and the greater CA economy.
It’s inspiring to get outside of the day to day operations and see all of the hard work that others put in daily to build their own businesses. Ther...e was a deep sense of appreciation and camaraderie felt among all attending, and we were very grateful to be included in it.
Thank you so much to Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham for the award, Mike Manchak of the Economic Vitality Corp for the nomination (and for our getting us our first SBA loan!), and thank you to everyone in this beautiful town who have supported a dream that could not live without you.
We feel so proud of our team and proud to be doing business in SLO, a town that supports and embraces small businesses like Scout!

Join us ✨TONIGHT✨for COOKIE DECORATING & holiday cheer! 5:30p-7p at Scout on foothill!
Let's take a break from our holiday to-do lists and enjoy some time together. Grab a friend or bring the whole family! We baked off a bunch of vanilla bean cookies and made naturally colored (fruit enhanced) sugars to frost and sprinkle. We'll make and clean up the mess so you don't have to! 😉

We are all signed off to open our second location at 880 Foothill!
Our first day will be Tuesday, August 2nd at 6:30am. Can't wait for you all to see it! Here's a little video to show some of the progress and work that went into putting it all together. It's been a great adventure, but we can't wait for Tuesday! Thanks to you all.

This is my stop whenever I am on the coast for coffee. You will not find a better cup of coffee in the area. The affogato and caramel macchiato are to die for!

Such a great place with wonderful coffee and great atmosphere. No "I'm too cool" to serve you attitude as the former Town favorite, 'L's'. Never a disappointing visit. Cliental included.

Seriously the best! The homemade almond milk made fresh each day and their homemade vanilla syrup...I dream about them at night. I quit checking in as being here because I don't want my friends to know how serious my habit is.

One of my favorites because they make their own almond milk. It is sweetened with honey, and a delicious treat. So glad they now have multiple locations in town -- and love how much space there is in the newer, Foothill location. Baristas are always very friendly. Highly recommend for a cozy spot to hang out.

My absolute favorite coffee E V E R!!! I LOVE this place... I’m almost there everyday. I love their coffee, honey tea bowls or one of their amazing treats ... you just can’t go wrong. Plus they are the kindest humans ever. Scout is where I take everyone and/or treat them when they come visit me 😍😍😍

Favorite coffee place in San Luis! Love the home made almond milk for my lattes. Their baked treats are so delicious . Great place to relax with a light and airy atmosphere. Gear up your electronics if you plan to do some work here as this is a beautiful historic building with almost no outlets for charging.

Coffee shops don't need to be grungy or have snooty baristas to have great coffee, and Scout does a good job of proving that...oh and the pastries are off the chart too!

Coffee Quest: an odyssey to find the perfect cup in SLO. Today we tried out the newest addition to the SLO coffee scene. Located on Garden St it's tucked into a great downtown location. It was busy, definitely the new cool hip spot in town complete with an urban loft motif. The baked goods are made on site, impossible to resist. The friendly staff of 6 made the service fast and everyone seemed happy to be there. The coffee... outstanding! My drip coffee was robust and Dine's latte was described as yummy The sugar cinnamon bun was as good as it looked.

Always my favorite coffee shop to frequent when I'm visiting San Luis Obispo. Very friendly service from staff and awesomely flavorful coffee. Americanos are my beverage of choice, and Scout Coffee Co. crafts mine perfectly with a whiskey sauce addition. The atmosphere is just my type of ambiance too.

Excellent latte and very nice staff. We tried the pastries and those were just ok.
