It was lovely. I was very comfortable here for afternoon tea with my girlfriend and I'm pretty much not a tea drinker (coffee queen here) but, I do love the whole tea experience. The food was good as well, the only thing I didn't like was that it was freezing in there, and I had on long sleeves. So, just make sure you bring a sweater. I definitely recommend this tea house to everyone.

We didn't get our sandwiches and my dessert that was supposed to be boxed up was thrown away. We had to get our sandwiches to go and got a new dessert.
The experience was great though, nice place. girl in training, it's ok. You'll do better.

Very nice atmosphere, great neighborhood and delicious food and sweets!! The tea was good but not mind blowing. I would definitely go again!

The menu selection was good. But I wish they had told us they didn't serve children under 5 and that we were expected to order 2 a la carte items for each child. One of the child doesn't eat solid foods. It'd just be courteous had we known ahead of time.

Cute tearoom, and nice finger foods, but the green tea, and fruit flavored black teas were weak and bagged.

I've been going here for years with a friend. We do a celebratory tea during the holidays each year. Their tea selection is great and the whole experience is such a treat.

Came here for Mother's Day tea with me mum.

WHAT IT IS
An adorable little tea house in Glendora.

WHAT YOU SHOULD ORDER
Tea, scones.

AMBIANCE
5 stars
This place is ADORABLE. Doilies, tea pots, painted ceilings, delicate little details--it's so... Girly! It was absolutely perfect for a mother's day outing, and I loved every minutes of it.

When you enter, the first thing you'll see is a small shop. They sell teas, tea pots, and tea accessories here. There is also a counter where you check in. You will be led through a small hallway to the main dining room. It was mother's day, so it was rather crowded, but I never felt totally crowded in. Everyone kept their voices low, too, so it wasn't so bad.

The ceiling is beautifully painted and the details on everything (from the tea cozies to the little napkins) is just adorable.

FOOD AND DRINKS
4 Stars
Since it was Mother's Day, my only option was to order the "Royal Tea", which comes with everything, so I got to try everything they have to offer!

I started with almond tea--my mother got rose tea. I liked mine better than hers, but they were both amazingly delicious. I went through two pots! The table is also set with all the musts for good English tea--cream, sugar cubes, ect.

Scone service was first. We both ordered their special white chocolate lavender scones, and they were the highlight of the entire experience. Freshly baked, crisp, and delicious. They also come with clotted cream and lemon curd--delicious.

Second course was soup course. Tomato Florentine bisque with bacon. This was also incredible--just hearty and so tasty. It really felt like it was homemade, and it probably was.

Third course was salad course. I wasn't super impressed with the salad--it wasn't anything different than what you'd get at other restaurants.

Forth course was sandwich course. This course was alright--the standouts were the chicken curry sandwiches and the roasted vegetable. The rest were rather bland, but they were cute and I was already getting full.

Final course was desert course. I wish I'd picked the bread pudding. :( My cake was good, but it was SO SWEET, and I was already so full that I could barely get through it. I think a nice custardy bread pudding would have been better (and the scent coming from the table next to us was intoxicating.

NICE SURPRISES
Clotted cream!

OVERALL
ADORABLE. A great place to have a spot 'o tea. I probably will do just tea and scones next time as those were DEFINITELY the standouts, but I'd have no problem doing the full Royal Tea again. It was fun!
