I've gone to other places in NYC and they're great......not taking away anything but I absolutely love this place and I'll be going back there for the BIG 40th birthday with wife. Highly recommended for those who like great food and scenery.

Had a chance to pop into Genes Café at 660 Madison Ave 8th Floor, New York, New York 10065, and it was a solid experience. Ordered their flat white, and it was pretty darn good. The caf√© has a rustic charm with wooden furniture and indie tunes playing in the background. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy your coffee without any fuss.

Genes Café was a letdown. The iced latte was watered down, and the pastries were dry. Won't be returning.
