Went for the first time yesterday! Absolutely loved it! Too bad me and my kids were only there for vacation. Reeces was amazing and my kids loved the frozen hot chocolate ���. Next visit will be stopping here again! Thank you guys

We just moved to the island and my wife heard about the shop in the Island Moon newspaper. We went after dinner last night and after enjoying our treat and the conversation we left with 4 pints. That should tell you how much we liked it. Now, how long will it take the two of us to finish 4 pints? Bet it's not very long!

Vita was awesome and had amazing Gelato and Sorbet available for us to try. She was very helpful in helping us combine flavors together. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Corpus Christi in the future! It is worth going to the Island for.

Tried this place for the first time and immediately fell in love with their gelato! Took my boyfriend for his birthday. Let’s just say we’ll be coming here again! We tried the s’mores, raspberry, and blueberry gelato. They even have to go pints, to satisfy for later cravings #needthisforver

The flavored are so real, it's like eating the actual fruit. Chef Vita is fantastic with her creations. Anytime I'm in the area near the shop I stop by. Everyone needs to give it a try, you'll be hooked like I am

The choices for a dairy free person are incredible!!! 4 different sorbets and dairy free giandiuotta hazelnut gelato! Also, Chef Vita and Chef Gail are great!

Now you don't have to fly to Florence to get real gelato! Vita constantly updates the selection, so that different flavors are offered everyday. It may be made the old-fashioned way, but the flavors are as up-to-date as anything Ben & Jerry's offers. The gelato shop is a local treasure. Enjoy it when you visit the Island!

My children an I visited last night! We couldn't decide what to get from all the delicious samples!!! My youngest had tried gelato somewhere in the past, and wasn't a fan- but after having some here, she enjoyed it!!! Great place!!! We will be back!

I wish I was able to give more than 5 stars to A La Mode Gelateria. Everything was above 5 stars from the cleanliness, to the decor, customer service, and (obviously) the gelato. The owner, Vita, was so friendly. She graciously provided all customers with samples of any flavor and conversed with customers easily. The gelato is hands down the best dessert I've had in Corpus Christi. The creaminess and flavors were outstanding. She had everything from fruit flavors (i.e. strawberry cheesecake, peaches and cream, and orange cream), rich and delectable flavors (i.e. rice crispy treat and birthday cake) to classic flavors (i.e. pistachio and chocolate). I highly recommend trying A La Mode Gelateria!!!

I recently found out about this place and i just love going there. Matter of fact, i am eating a pint of their gelato while writing this. Their gelatos are so good. The variety of flavors change daily but they are delicious as always. The gelatos are so full of flavor; simply the best ones ive ever had. The paninis are also just plain amazing. But what makes my experience complete are the wonderful ladies working there. They are funny, friendly and the atmosphere is just great.

By far the best ice cream I've ever had. I'm not much of an ice cream eater, but this stuff is incredible and I had 3 scoops and enjoyed all of it and the waffle bowl. The service is great as well. Very friendly!

Best gelato I’ve ever had! Love the variety. The brownies are just as amazing....you won’t find a better one in the whole Corpus Christi area! Oh, and if you haven’t tried the Sicilian cookies, you’re missing out....they are wonderful!!!!!

Amazing! Went there last night and the gelato was delicious! We tried the cake batter, salted caramel and my favorite the peanut butter cookie dough. Looking forward to tasting the crepes and pastries as well. Exactly what the island was needing.

Absolutely amazing!!! Deserves more than five stars. They love what they do with a true passion and love their customers just as much. The gelato and creativeness is awesome. I highly recommend taking a moment stop in and treat yourself. You'll love the gelato and the ladies and the atmosphere they have worked so hard and put their hearts into. A la mode is "the bomb" fresh homemade gelato that you can taste . Love, love cherry Greek yogurt . This is a friendly island shop that makes you feel right at home . You won't be disappointed !
