We've been twice now, once before and tonight. Both times we've had awesome service and the food has been good! The portions are also a good size and you don't leave hungry!

We we're invited to Bricks by Jennifer (she's a great waitress and long time friend of my Fiancee). I ordered the brisket sandwich w/ a Texas potatoe. Both were incredible. The sweet tea is excellent. I also robbed a few grilled shrimp and butterflied shrimp from my Fiancee oh my gosh! The black berry cobbler is dreamy. The grilled shrimp are well worth the 5 and a half hour drive to get them again. Dinner's Drive-ins and Dives must go to this restaurant and so should you.

We heard the food was good. Ate there yesterday and loved it. They were down one cook so things were a little slow but the food was well worth the wait. I had the cheeseburger, it was the best I ever had. My wife had the fried green tomato sandwich and loved it. The portions were big so we didn’t get dessert...next time we will.

We had a large group of 20+ and our waitress Summer did a great job. She couldn't help the fact that the kitchen ran out of avocados and then when time to check out the register crashed. She held it together with poise and grace. The German Food was pretty good too.. Overall a very nice place.

We came in late, but the friendly staff was great about our late arrival. The drinks came quickly and were quite good. We ordered the sirloin with shrimp and it was fabulous! I am very picky about my steak being cooked just right (pink) and it was perfect! The fried shrimp were also very tasty. Only disappointment was the coconut cream pie. We will be back. �

Ordered the special 8oz steak w/popcorn shrimp, loaded baked potato, & broccoli. Everything tasted great! My only complaint would be that someone should show the cook what a medium steak looks like. But the flavor was excellent. My wife had the chicken fried steak and she had no complaints. My daughter ordered the burger...Holy smokes was it good! Probably one of the best I've had�. One bite made me wish I had ordered the same. The waitress was a lil slow on the beer run but we had a great experience all together and look forward to our next visit. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Once again Brick's lives up to its reputation of excellent food and service. Shannon and I along with Zach took a seat at the bar and met up with Dannielle, our favorite bartender from a previous restaurant. We haden't seen her for a few months so it was good to say hi to her. The bar is decent sized, and liquor selection is average, same for beer choices. This friday became awesomely busy! Lucky we got there when we did because within 30 minutes the place was packed. Dispite the crowd, our food came out quick and was terrific. All servers were on point, and Danielle kept no one waiting for very long. Kudos to all for an awesome job. We will be back.

Let me just say that this restaurant is AWESOME ! The food is great and if you stop in you have to try their meat loaf and SMASHED potato as well as their Dr. PEPPER burger. The staff was awesome and I can't remember our waitresses name but she was great. I will and would definitely recommend this establishment to everyone I know and I would eat there again..... on a side note: DO NOT STAY at the motel located on the property called river oak inn. If you need to know why please see their face book page and see my review with the photos. I wouldn't let a sewer rat live or stay there. But Bricks cafe is AWESOME!

I have never been disapointed with the food at Brick's, and now with the new deck, full bar and Live music, I will be spending a LOT more of my time and money here. Great wait staff too.

I had the queso covered pork chops with Spanish rice, refried beans, and guacamole, Sweet tea served in a Mason jar with blackberry cobbler for dessert. Like Grandpa on HeeHaw used to say, "Umm Umm Good."

I had the Gulf Coast shrimp platter, with amazing jalapeno hush puppies, handmade coleslaw and the blackberry cobbler. But the sweet tea was to die for, perfect Texas Tea. We also ordered fried mozzarella sticks and they were heavenly. Chris ordered the chopped brisket sandwich, which he really really enjoyed. If you stop in no matter what you order, you MUST order the Texas potatoes. The restaurant was clean, the staff were super courteous and our waitress, Jennifer, truly made us feel at home. If you want to put some South in your mouth, I can't think of a better place than Brick's!👍👍👍

Chef made me an off the menu vegan wrap. Best wrap I have ever had. The side of flaky onion rings made this a great meal. Waitress was delightful. Will definitely return.

Love the fried green beans and the fried mushrooms were good

There were 12 people in our party and the service was excellent. Everyone I think got something different and did not hear any complaints

We like going there with our friends from Thousand Trails medina lake

Food was good and served promptly ONCE we got the attention of the wait staff. Since we seated ourselves as the sign at the front door directed, we sat on the patio outside and waited. My husband finally went inside to get someone after a couple of waiters came out serviced other customers but never bothered to ask us if we needed help. The couple next to us started laughing and told us they had to do the exact same thing.

If not for the fact that we have been there before and food is always good and service has been alot better, we would not be returning.

Considering it was probably the busiest day of the year with the Bandana Cowboy Madri Gras, the overall experience was good. The food is good except the need for a bit of seasoning. Will all restaurants please start seasoning their food again? Plaaaeeeeze??

Service was excellent our server was super awesome!

The only problem was the food! I ordered the RibEye Steak, and what they served was a steak that was taken out and thrown on iron pan had no flavor no season, nothing honestly it was a bland piece of meat

To the point I just let the cat outside have it.

Sorry but when you look forward to a great steak to the point your mouth is watering from the anticipation.

And you get served a crap. Your servers were great and I won’t take that away from this place so the 3 stars are for the excellent service we got from our waitress that is only reason I gave 3 stars cuase the food is horrible!

People told us the food was good. They were wrong. Pasta came out sorta warm and dry! Shrimp on top couldn't be chewed. My brother ordered a BBQ sandwich with onion rings. His sandwich was served with nothing! Extremely dry also. Had to ask for BBQ sauce. Onion rings looked great but once they cooled enough to eat ... they were raw inside. Wait staff was nice but food should never have been served to someone

Came from out of town. Service started out good. Water cup was dirty. Ordered food right away, but then waited 45 minutes for some sandwiches. Once we got our food, mine didn’t seem right. I ordered the shaved rib eye and it came out dry, no onions, peppers, cheese or jalapeño bread. When I asked the server they said that it was cooked correctly. I said ok, but knew it wasn’t right but didn’t want to wait another 45 min for them to get it right. Sweet potato fries were cold, and seemed to have been sitting for awhile. Probably will not got here again.
