We came in town for a blues concert at the Lantex Theater. Rochelle and the Sidewinders. We stayed at Days Inn and Suites. Great place! Burger Bar is right across the street!! Fabulous food!! One of the best burgers I've had. Texas Monthly needs to eat here and the cheddar bacon burger will be on the top 50 list. Homemade onion rings to top things off.

My first time and it was delicious! I highly recommend it. We go through Llano frequently on our way to the ranch. We’l be going back for more great burgers!

I just ate at the Burger Bar Cafe and I highly recommend it. The Pepper Jack Burger was big and delicious and the fries were enough for two!! Needless to say, I’m stuffed. The service was fantastic and the staff was really nice, warm, and welcoming. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Llano. 5 star for sure!

I grew up hunting out highway 71, just passed Llano going toward Brady. We hunted there from the time I was 7 until 18. The ranch in llano seemed magical. The memories of rolling hills, giant oaks, panning for gold in cold creek and the innumerable supply of deer made such an indelible mark on my childhood memories. A big part of those hunting memories was the treat and excitement of getting to go to the Burger Bar!! I always thought I'd try something different but every time, i got the chicken fried steak. I couldn't help it. Being a native Texas and connoisseur of all things fried, I can honestly say that the Burger Bar chicken fried steak stands out in my memory as the best I've ever had. Glad to see y'all are still in business. Hope to get up to llano and enjoy one soon.

I absolutely love the mushroom Swiss burger. Mary and her crew are all amazing the foods great the service is phenomenal and the building is absolutely cool love this place I will definitely be eating here again and again and again

Best Chicken Fried Steak plate I've had in years! Hand breaded and from scratch. Salad had fresh greens and fantastic sweet tea! To top it all off we had courteous and continual customer service.

Price was MORE than reasonable for the amount of food served!

Stop by if you're driving through!

Texas size Burger was amazing! My burger was tender and tasted great! Worth the wait! Onion rings were on point as well! My wife had a burger as well and she was very impressed! Staff was great! We will be back!

The food was good but the service lacked. Over 25 minutes for a burger and 3 tacos. Our server never asked if we needed anything . No tea refills.

Called at 7:15 pm to see how late they were open. Got there at 7:30 and the girl says they are closed. You've lost another customer.

Big is not always good. Meat had a good flavor, but the bun ruined the experience for me. It was cold (the bun), soaked up the juices of the burger, & began falling apart after the second bite. Was not offered silverware (I could have asked), so cutting it in half may have helped & was needing a fork to finish, but used my hands. I hate complaining/whining among friends.

Staff was good with tea refills, and service was prompt in all ways.

Tea watered down. I could have picked a bowl of leaves off of a tree and gotten the same salad. Chicken fried steak i swear was all breading. I even had to put my glasses on to look for meat. What i did find was paper thin .daughter ordered grilled shrimp. The menu says 8 shrimp they bring 6. I tell the waitress an she said the cook said she only put 6 because they are changing it but just havent changed it on the menu. Your kidding me right. I will not be going back. Do Not like the new way the food is. Been eating burger bar for 25 years and this was the worst.

I do not usually complain, but I driver thru and order 2 burgers and 2 fries. My burger is always tricky to order cause I am picky. But I come back 15 minutes later paid over 22.00 for 2 burgers and 2 fries. Come home and both burgers are wrong. My husband is not picky so he eats his. I call up there and they agree to cook me another one. So my son goes by and picks it up and brings to me and guess what it is wrong. So I spend over 22.00 and still don't get to eat supper.

I do not recommend it..they lost all our service it’s sad because we used to enjoy burger bar..waited over an hour for our food had 5 side salads that we didn’t get until after our food arrived...burgers were were okay but didn’t look very good..ordered three tanners and it looked like all they did was sprinkle a little cheese over it not like it was supposed to and the corndog we got was still cold in the middle..also the tea was horrible made us sick to our stomachs..will be going else where for our food and our daily teas..
