We received the News 4 Blue Plate award here at Cafe Milano, in praise of our perfect score on the health inspection. Thank you so much San Antonio, Helotes and Leon Valley for your support these past 20yrs.

We had a pleasant Dinning experience tonight. Is a great alternative if you don't want to eat greasy fast food. It was my first time to dine here and it will NOT be my last. Looking forward to eating here again.

The food was excellent but it was much better to see friends who haven't been well and to share with them.

One thing I miss since moving to Austin is Cafe Milano. Amazing bread and sauces, charming waiters, delicious entrees, the whole kit and kaboodle. Just a really special experience every time we ate there.

We have Mandolas here in Austin. I used to like to get their cannelloni, but then they removed it from the menu. It's pretty overpriced too. So I miss Cafe Milano. I liked this one on Bandera the best. Seems like I tried one on Wurzbach once and was not as impressed. Maybe it is a different chain with the same name? I don't know. I just know I liked the Bandera place way better and miss it.

That sugarosa sauce is to die for. I was fishing around on the internet and decided that must actually be an al sugo rosa sauce. I tried a recipe that was like a bechamel sauce with a marinara in it. It was similar, but still not your wonderful sauce. I'll keep playing in the kitchen though. Since I live elsewhere now, it's not like I can come get yours on a whim anymore.

But I will say to the residents of San Antonio, this place is a gem, unless it has changed since I have been there. So keep it in business.

Have been here many times and the food is spectacular. The service had always been excellent. I love coming here and don't go anywhere else for Italian.

Hands down, THE BEST Italian restaurant in San Antonio! Great food, great atmosphere, great service! My waiter Javier suggested a great dish and it was amazing! Love the music, dim lighting and the spacious seating. I love that all the waiters helped each other's tables. I had like 4 different waiters ask if we were OK or took plates from our table. AND the best part was that everyone had a smile on their face! Love this place!

Awesome experience. The service is great and the food is the best authentic italian food you will find. I can't think of a negative thing to say about this place.

We sure miss them, they had pretty decent food for the money. It's supposedly being remodeled, but I've never seen workers there. I drive by almost every day. They definitely had some issues with sewage smell and overall condition of the interior and exterior, but most of that should be on the strip mall management and owners. I'm certain that the horrible traffic and difficult access from Bandera & Eckhart Rds also played a part. Ditto for the Carl's Jr and Dickie's across the street. We've been having to travel way out of our way to Little Italy for decent Italian fare in the meantime.

Love the food and atmosphere. Wonderful waiter. Don't be discouraged by the outside, take a walk into little Italy!!!

Terrible service.. arrived at location, was seated, given bread sticks, and then no one returned for at least 10 minutes.... canceled our order, and did not even receive an apology for lack of service.. I know the food is great because we have been here before, but cannot believe how the service sucked.. Plenty of staff just walking around.. not sure what happened, but very disappointed..
