Well, it's time to share some good news! I know, I know...no, I haven't hit the lottery yet, but here's a worthwhile 'lil place to come visit in Kempner, Texas! The one stop street corner shop for the busy traveler or the neighborhood locals. They have the best fresh grinded coffee beans coffee anywhere, and the breakfast drive thru puts you back into the 50's era in an instant! The convenience store and the diner is a big hit if you're looking for some down home good country cookin' and conversation. This is it! Come on in and see for yourself...Tell ' em 'Black Diamond' sent ya!!!!

We just moved to Copperas Cove from Utah. Christensen's and the Driftwood Cafe are just down the road from us in Kempner. I've been down to Christensen's a few times and we ate at Driftwood Cafe yesterday. The people I've met there are super friendly and hospitable. I've been going here to get my drinks refilled instead of other convenience stores. The people here are very nice.

Okay friends in this area, I bought a stuffed Jalapeno burger and it was good. I think my friends who like spicy would like this one and they have more to choose from. Stop by and try Driftwood Cafe soon :)

My best friend just moved to Kempner and introduced to this little slice of country heaven!!! I've visited my friend twice in a month and have stopped here 3 times. Great hand-pressed burgers, great breakfast sandwiches, great people, and great atmosphere.
