We have visited Port A several times over the past few years. I am a coffee drinker, my husband is not. But we found Coffee Waves and I have NEVER had a bad cup, no matter what. And my husband is a huge fan of the coffee cake!!! It's a win win!! We spent every morning of our visit sitting outside on the chairs enjoying every minute!! If you are in Port A...this place is a must!

The only thing of its type in Port A and a great stop. I'll get gelato there after dinner or a Big Train after a day on the beach or a cold brew ahead of a long drive. Good coffee, tea, sandwiches, wraps, gelato and setting. Worth a stop any time.

Our large family visits "Coffee Waves Port Aransas" a couple times a year. Buying all the chocolate muffins stocked ;), enjoying Boarshead sandwiches/wraps, breakfast croissants, coffees & tshirts. Our go to place for great coffee in the mornings and gelato in the afternoon!

Staff is friendly and the cafe is comfortable. Plenty of selections for breakfast or lunch.

Love coffee waves, went there several times while on vacation and will definitely be Back when we come back in September. Beats Starbucks all to #@#@. And I love Starbucks too. Stage is very friendly and great environment. To bad they can't open a place in Abilene, Texas. Lol

I love this place! I used to work at the conference center on mustang island and would go to the coffee shop weekly! Just went again yesterday and got my favorite, the grasshopper drink. Please don't ever get rid of that drink ���

I don't ever go to coffee shops cause I'll have coffee at the house. This was my second time though. I needed to edit some pictures and I had plans for the night in Port A. So I stuck around. My first Carmel machiotto. The baristas are beautiful as well as just as sweet as the Carmel they put in my coffee. My phone had died and they even offered a charger up when I asked.

My new found daytime hangout no doubt.

Great playlist and comfortable atmosphere as well.

Reasonable prices for a great coffee that's not scolding hot.

You can actually drink it. And not wait on it to cool down forever.

Stopped for Coffee every morning during sand fest. The staff was amazing and the gelato was a perfect way to end our mini vacay and beat the heat while waiting in line for the ferry.

I don't like tomatoes & when I asked our waitress to remove them from my order I was told they can't do that because it was a "signature dish."

I ordered something else which was excellent however, they should accommodate their guests special requests.

Blend is too bitter for a starter espress. You need to have two blends available or not serve such a dark roast. You'll drive people away with a bitter roast, but create more revenue with a mild/medium as those needing stronger flavours add shots to their coffee.

Also, it's affogato, it's Italian - please spell it correctly.

Further, the three "baristas" who managed my orders seemed uninformed about the industry within which they work. Please train & maintain.
