Wonderful food and atmosphere, my grandkids loved it, the staff is friendly and and very interactive. The food, ie delicious and very beautiful! Every plate is a work of art, both to the eye and to the palet

What a gem absolutely love this place a bit far but worth the drive. The omelette sate just amazing the bfast sandwiches are delicious and their tacos are just right. Best coffee with a side of pastry love the blueberry scone and their slices of cake. Keep it up you guys are doing great 👍

Went after church service yesterday, place was packed but we were able to be seated quickly. Service was fast and wait staff was pleasant and attentive. A must if in the area

We were greeted with smiling faces as soon as we came in. Had a nice booth, great service and even better food! I had the French toast with fresh fruit and my boyfriend had the Panini. Both delicious 😋 we’ll be back again!

We live in Lakemont and wanted to be tourist for a day. We took a Sunday drive to Wallis for Mass at Guardian Angel Catholic. What a beautiful church with so much history. On our way back home we stopped for breakfast / lunch at Essence House Cafe. They have a really cool looking interior, great smooth jazz music and wonderful food. They have an ample number of friendly wait staff that work as a team. The beautiful delicious cakes and pastries are made in house. If you are driving through Fulshear, Essence House Cafe is worth a stop.

We absolutely LOVE Essence House Cafe and eat there at least 2 times a week. The food is everything you could want served in a trendy high brow yet friendly homespun family run cafe. Essence House Cafe has become a destination for many with cyclist coming all the way from Austin to enjoy it's delights! The food is excellent - but even more memorable is the ambiance and the wonderful people that fill this small cafe with so much warmth and joy.

Have been going here for a few years, I love, love, love the food. I've never had anything that wasn't delicious, presentation is on point! I recommend it to others often! My favorite hidden gem ;)

Great little place! The sandwich I had was amazing! My kids just moved to Fulshear and I will be visiting often and know where to eat~

Food was really good and so was the service. It's a very nice relaxing place that you can hang out and catch up with some friends.

Everything I have ever had here has been delicious! It is my favorite place for breakfast, my "go to"spot for lunch and the first place I go when I need a dessert (awesome!). I love it!!!

Good coffee. Good teas.

Nice place to chill for a while. Internet available. Baked goods look good but I cannot have, so, guessing.

Have had varying experience with the menu.

Soups pretty good.

Sandwiches OK. (I don't' eat the breads)

Quiches are not the best, and not the worst. If you're dying for a quiche, try the soup, you'd be happier.

Cake frostings are lardy.

Nice place to chill for a while and get away for a chat with friends.

A nice little cafe with good food and friendly service. Their wait staff could do a better job of listening, though. Yesterday our server thought I said decaf coffee when I said decaf tea (I don't drink coffee). Different server today delivered soggy bacon when I specifically asked for super-crisp bacon. Otherwise, a very nice place to eat.

Used to go there a lot, good food and atmosphere. I stopped supporting them when I was informed they will not support the local school or community events (no flyers, no donations, etc). Too bad. Our little town depends on the support of each other. We should all give back what we sow.

This is a hit or miss coffee shop. The supervisor is inconsistent and the food is just average. The weekends are usually swarming with bikers, sweaty seats and bikes everywhere.

I did a solo visit today. Thought I would grab a salad. It was 1 p.m. I sat 5 minutes, not a single person brought me a menu or asked for a drink order. I got up and got my own menu. Sat for another 10 min. and still no service. I got up, walked two doors down and had a fabulous salad at Pepperoni's and great service. Won't bother taking my business to Essence House Cafe again.

Zero Stars, DO NOT TIP!! apparently the manager keeps their tips as these young ladies run back and forth trying their best to make it. With under minimum wage. Also foods ok sometimes

Very bad service from "Chevo". Asked for a service and he decided to ignore my request. Will think about returning here. Miguel tried to fix the bad service from Chevo. You just don't microwave the Italian Cream Cake.
