Zen and I met our friend Eileen there for late lunch. Quick service, nice vegan salad(hummus and tabboli), falafel sandwich. Extremely tasty. Thanks guys for a good afternoon!

We have been customers at the European for 30 years. This restaurant is one of the best. Their staff are efficient, courteous and always friendly. The food is delicious and I cannot ever remember having to send an order back over all these years. They know how to treat their customers.

We enjoyed our food outside at the patio. Service was excellent and timed very reasonably fast service. I had the hot pastrami on rye with mustard and mayo sandwich . It came with chips and a delicious pickle. Topped it off with a slice of their famous Carrot Cake. YUM! We love going to European Street Cafe - Riverside

The service was great our waiter was the best.The sandwich was very good.Only thing I didn't was they have nothing in Budwiser.The prices are not bad at all.I will definitely go there again.I loved it.

I will always love this place, not only for its food (and the hot mustard) but also because this is where my wife and I went for our first date, 25 years ago, in December 1992. Don't know what it is about European Street but we had many dates there before moving to Atlanta in 2003 and we're still going strong. Maybe it really is that hot mustard, lol.

I ordered lunch yesterday and sat and waited a while. The manager then told me my order had gotten lost and they had to remake it. He was very apologetic, and gave me free drinks for my wait.



Mistakes happen, but it is always nice when it is acknowledged properly.



And as always, the food was fantastic!

First of all, their 2 for 1 beers are excellent. It’s the perfect place for lunch and a fun date! I absolutely love their Gumbo with pretzel bread! I ALWAYS get it! Of course, the food itself is phenomenal. I try to eat something different every time I go, but my favorite is the Fiery Turkey hero! I just love spicy food so much. So much that I bought a whole bottle of their signature spicy mustard for only $3! It’s also fun after you eat because you can pick out yummy cheap European candies, sweets, goodies, and beers in the little shoppe! I love that place, and the people are wonderful. I find myself craving European street monthly. Even though I moved, I’ll still make the 45 minute drive for some yummy lunch! And afterwards, you can go walk around riverside. Love it!

Ask for "cola beer" (Diesel). It's half cola, half beer. It's very popular right now in Germany. I would LOVE to see it on the drink menu! I think you would, too! E Street made it for my husband and it was perfect... just like it was in Germany!

I don't get down to Jax so much anymore, but I am so glad our good friends the Taylors were/are always up for a meal here. Never disappointed. Have to be careful where I wear my "Monster German weiner" t-shirt nowadays!

Normally i love this e street, however, tonight was very disappointed. Came in with a larger party tonight and it the waiter (jeff) was patient and waited form the rest of our party to show up, however, when we did order Drinks, those that ordered water had to ask another waitress to actually get it. When our food came out (which took a good 45 mins) part came out to the table, then 2 other tables got theirs before the rest of our party go their food. It took me asking jeff twice to get the beer i ordered. When my dinner finally came out, the French dip sandwich I ordered (that was supposed to be served HOT) came out cold. I've never had a bad experience at this particular location, however this is very dissapointing.

The waiter never told us his name, the water glass/cup had lipstick stains on it. No straws given or offered, they became annoyed when we asked. Never, made eye contact with us when we did order, he was too busy looking outside at the alchol tables to see if they required refills. We would have ordered beers if he had heard our questions about the type of Fall brews available. Wrong bread for the sandwich, it is usually the wait staff who should pay attention to what is being/been delivered to the customer. Check to see if as correct. Then attempt to correct the error. He comped our food. But, that was not the point. The point was...pay attention to the customer. I would have over looked all of the above he hadn't been so rude.

The microwaved chicken in the Princess Anne sandwich had been way over heated not only burning my lip and tongue it was extremely chewy! When I informed the waitress about the meat burning my lips I got, "they are all microwaved a certain time." Not "I'm sorry you burnt your mouth" what I got was a smart remark from her. The management/bartender "Alex" only makes it worse when he gets involved. I'll never be back, that was after a five year break from your place. Lesson learned here.
