Hello to all our customers of Forty Five Coffee. This is Annette the owner and proprietor. I have some wonderful and very exciting news for you all. As I am approaching seventy-one years young, I am delighted to announce that I am, with great enthusiasm, turning over my business to two great humans who are multiple decades younger than me. I had planned, from the beginning, to do this if and when the right folks came along and that has happened. As of Saturday February 23, 2...019, the company will change hands. The new proprietors will be Cody Gordon of Highwire Roasters and his partner Kristina who are now Jacksonville locals. Please join me in welcoming them as I sit back and become the legacy founder and matriarch of this sweet corner spot enjoying the same stellar espresso and reading my favorite fish wrap...The New York Times. While the shop may eventually change names, the service and friendly atmosphere will remain. The shop will be closed, for upgrades and renovations, from Saturday, February 23rd to Thursday, February 28th and back open for business as usual on Friday, March 1st. Forty Five staff will remain in place and will be there to serve you, on March 1st, the same great products and some new delicious additions too!

This place is great.. the owner is very nice. It's clean and very hip. Service was excellent. Definitely not your average coffee shop. Pet friendly there is even a doggie bowl and hitching post for your family pet. My coffee had a beautiful design on the top. It made me feel valued and made it taste like the best coffee ever. Thank you for taking the time to make us feel valued.

They have great coffee and friendly staff. They have pastries and muffins available but no other breakfast food as far as I could tell. Indoor or outdoor seating. Small place with a good vibe. What they do, they do well.

There is practically a place to buy coffee on every corner in this area but not many that serve such an awesome cup of coffee perfection. There is some cool background music, indoor and outdoor seating and some super-nice folks serving it all up.

The owner and young man that work there are always friendly and thoughtful and they have delicious pastries and tasty coffee. Like the fun environment and jazz music.

If you are a full on coffee snob like I am, this is your place! I go out of my way for artisan coffee—and this is worth going out of your way for. Bonus that the people making your coffee are welcoming and kind. I'm so glad that we have artisan coffee in our sweet little Jacksonville!

Excellent place to go have a smooth great tasting cup of coffee and awesome muffins, donuts, and scones. My favorite is a white mocha it's amazing!!Way to go Forty Five Coffee, welcome to Jacksonville!

Excellent coffee with baristas who clearly know what they're doing. Not pretentious, which is great. And a great atmosphere to enjoy coffee and encounter friendly people.
