This place now, has a special meaning to me. Yesterday, as I was ordering breakfast I asked the waitress how much where the cookies because my boyfriend was leaving for Iraq and wanted him to have something for the plane ride. I didn't know my conversation was being over heard by another table. They bought his cookies.

I never in my life had anything like that happen to me. I broke down crying. I'm already a basket case with him leaving. But my mystery person... thank you from the bottom of my heart! I'm paying it forward! There are good people out there that care for a stranger..

The food was hot, and exactly what we ordered. Best breakfest in a very long time, maybe since the last time I went there.

The absolute best food you’ll ever eat but when you think that is all wait wait wait for the CINNAMON ROLLS

Excellent. Stayed in a nearby hotel. Place was packed Father's Day morning but our wait was only 15 minutes. Servers had to squeeze between tables but they were friendly and efficient. My Country Cristo was amazing. The hash browns were undercooked for me, but better than dry and tasteless. My husband loved his pancakes, eggs, sausage. Our coffee cup was never empty. The cinnamon rolls were yummy (and free if you read their tshirts).

Always five star food and service, every time we go. A Lake Worth special place to dine.

Went for a typical Texas breakfast, which is typically carb and fat heavy. We got just what we wanted and expected!! It was Sunday morning, so it was pretty busy, everyone was very friendly, not too long of a wait for anything. I can't make any complaints except maybe that there was too much food!! I recommend it, but don't expect gourmet, or hipster, or health food, or 'lite' anything. Just tasty comfort food!!

I agree with other posters about the heavy rolls, but they were delicious all the same. The food was great, chicken fried steak was tender and the mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. My fiance's sandwich, he loved and his bread was crispy not soggy as another poster reported. The fried pickles were great, a meal alone and a massive portion enough for 5 people.

The ice cubes in my drink smelled and made my drink taste awful, but that isn't the restaurants fault. People from the area may be used to the the smell but it really took my breath away. Our waitress was amazing and took the drinks off the bill so again I can't complain about that.

My biggest complaint (why I didn't give 5 stars) would be how the staff dresses, they looked very sloppy and when I get food I do expect my waiters to look decent not like they rolled out of bed in jeans and t-shirts. Nice staff, but they should be in black slacks and shirts or black pants and the ginger brown t-shirts tucked in.

Crispy chicken fried steak, tasty turnip greens and HUGE coconut meringue pie! Loved the table-top jute boxes!

I'd been to Ginger Browns numerous times while living in Fort Worth. I moved to Katy, Tx. On a trip home from Colorado through ftw we stopped for breakfast. I was very disappointed. My omelet and grits were tasteless. Hash browns weren't browned they were greasy and undercooked. Our cinnamon roll was stale. I had ordered a dozen to go I hope they are fresher.

A Friday night, around 8pm and it was practically empty. The waitress was very helpful and attentive. I ordered the shepherds pie and she returned to tell me they ran out of meatloaf so I would have to change my order. I changed it to chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and excited it came with a famous cinnamon roll. The food was really good except my big portion of chicken fried steak was deceiving as it was mostly crust. My husband ordered the burger with cheese and jalapenos. It was a big burger, and he said the fries were really good. My son ordered the corn dog off the kids menu with 2 cheesesticks as his side. It came with a treat.

Our waitress said they had run out of cinnamon rolls and they would give us a rain check for them. Uuugghhhh! I’m guessing this is common because she and the lady at the register didn’t blink an eye at getting me & my son our rain checks.

The wait staff looked like they loved their job, but had no problem talking to each other loudly across the restaurant.

I’ve always liked the food but on recent visit Friday there was a roach running around in the music box at the table and I couldn’t eat my food!!

Breakfast is much better in the morning. Had it for dinner and my eggs were too greasy and sausage over cooked. Rolls and pancakes were delicious and my husband was not too crazy about the bacon, egg, & cheese omelet.

The owner treats the kids that work there horribly. My daughter worked a 12 hour shift & the next day a 13 hour shift, Ginger wouldn’t allow her a break to eat lunch or break at all. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. This is cruel to not let someone break for 13 hours, I will never give that place business again. If a child is under 16 she pays them less than $5 and hr for the first 90 days. Beware!!!!

Not what I expected it's k but won't come back, not very customer friendly when u want to change something on the order like beef for chicken. Don't want to work with me even if it cost a lil more no big deal, but that's fine I can go somewhere else.

My Wifr and I ate there with my son, hus wife and new born baby. The food was horriable. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it came in two pieces one half was so bad i could not even cut it with knife. Everyone else had there complaints. For a $85.00 bill this place was NOT good at all. I will never eat there again

I'm allergic to eggs and the owner her self point blank refused to substitute or work with me, she spoke through her employees and refused to come out and speak to me directly because she was busy in the freezer. Will never return to this place, horrible customer service.
