I really love the food at this restaurant. I chose this place for my birthday brunch with my family, the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We had breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were great, eggs were great, bacon could've been more crispy. My daughter ordered the Belgium Waffle and it was huge. She said it was delicious. My son ordered a bacon and cheese omelette and he said it was great. They're very generous with portion sizes. My husband ordered the club sandwich and ge said it was wonderful. Will definitely be back.

A great Sunday Brunch. Never had a bad meal. Number 1 in Kingsland for a good reason. IT IS #1!!

I really liked this restaraunt and getting to learn about the history of the building. The food was unbelievably good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my friend ordered the California club sandwich and we split our meals and shared them. Both were great but my chicken fried steak was better. Lol

Great food and history. Pretty cool being in Leatherface's old house, and they sell Texas Chainsaw Massacre merch and even have a (really hot) drink named after it too. Check out the upstairs area if you're a fan of the movie. I can't recommend this place enough for brunch. Wait might be long but it's worth it, you wont be disappointed.

Great little spot for a good lunch with friendly staff and good service. The new expanded bar area doesn't quite fit the ambience of the main house but is a good little addition.

Historic diner. The "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" fame. Get there at least an hour before closing, or they might decide they don't want you :)

The original Texas chainsaw massacre was filmed here. The food was absolutely perfect. My only complaint was the bartender who was rude and indirect. I think he was possibly the owner. I didn't go down on my rating because everything else was amazing. Our waiter was attentive and informative. The place is gorgeous.

We were spending a weekend in the Hill Country and were super excited to find this hidden gem. The food was AMAZING and the prices were very reasonable.

Came in late for lunch and got 4 hamburgers. Service was awesome, fast and friendly. The burgers were great. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

We were a party of 4. Was disappointed in the food, 1 chicken fried steak it was all batter, shrimp Alfredo the noodles were gummy & not right kind, shrimp were good. Husband's order he said was ok but for the price we paid he won't go back. Too bad are choices are limited in this area.

Really cozy and adorable! I ordered one of the more popular item on the menu: the Deconstructed Latte. The employees were extremely nice and took their time to explain the process of drinking the latte.

Latte was perfect, it was a great experience to try all the ingredients in a latte separately! Will definitely return soon.
