cool people. tasty treats. coffee!

I usually get the Bulletproofer with half cold water, bc i do not like HOT coffee and do not like waiting (like 3 bears) for it to cool. If you share my taste bud preference, ask for you coffee "Jaret-ized".

What an awesome place! I came in by myself knowing a little about Esports, and this is really a treat. I only got a drink, but my latte was excellent! And this isn't a gimmick where they over charge for the experience. Looking this place up I thought there would be more TV's displaying different streams, but that's something with more profit probably will be invested in. The back room was very cool seeing different people get together to play video games on different monitors. Talking to one of the workers, I found out not only do the people play for fun, but the venue also hosts tournaments for Hearthstone, Smash 4, and Tekken. I really liked this idea, and wish Grind break could some way open up closer to the Universities near downtown Houston, so students could get more fun out of it during the middle of the day. Will definitely be coming back some time.

What a hidden gem! Trendy little spot. Awesome menu. Creative coffee concepts (that are delicious too). Great food. Super nice staff. Organic. Environmentally conscious. Love love love it.



Seriously more people need to enjoy this gem so we can help them make a gazillion dollars and expand their staff so they can be open 24/7 bc I could just chill here all the time! ���

We love this place! Very clean. A cozy relaxed feel. ALWAYS excellent friendly service. LOVE the coffee; more than Starbucks. Food is always fresh. If you've never been or not sure what to order, they are patient and explain the items and/or give suggestions. 5 stars, no question about it!!!

Very cool place, staff was friendly as can be. We orders a smoothie, some tea, and a sandwich and everything was great!! Definitely coming back when I'm in the area � 10/10, would dine again

This place is awesome! The coffee is absolutely delicious and it's organic...haven't tried the smoothies or food yet, but everything I've seen looks and smells wonderful! And the staff is so sweet and they always remember you...they really add that personal touch! My new fav coffee place ☕️❤️😍

The cafe mocha I had made with organic coffee, chocolate syrup and coconut milk was delicious! I will go definitely back there when I am in the area again. Moms- it's not too far from Urban Air!

Saw this place a few times on my drive home from work and finally decided to stop by last month. Glad I did. Delicious food (recommend the Rising Sun), great tea, coffee, smoothies and fraps. Have been 3 times now, always looking to order and try something new, and nothing has disappointed. Employee's are super welcoming.



Recommended the place to my airport coworkers, and now its become a favorite To-Go place for our lunch orders. Next step is dropping by for one of their gaming events.

Outstanding experience. I worked in coffee many years and I can confirm this place nails all the requirements for an awesome place.



1. Customer service - Was outstanding from the second I walked through the door. I never felt like I was anywhere else other than a welcoming environment.



2. Coffee - Great options, some classic, some creative. The quality of my drink was good. The barista suggested a sweet option which is usually not my taste however it had two double shots of espresso and was great.



3. Food - Tried the "pizzadillas" and they were surprisingly incredibly good. Hands down my new goto option for quick lunch bites.



4. Seating - Ample indoor seating and outlets place in multiple areas for devices. The overall seating design offers multiple options ensuring that you can relax based on your preferences such as benches, tables with chairs that have full backs or sofa style loungers.



Bonus: They host esports viewing and game nights which you can find by following their facebook.



Double Bonus: Their soda fountain has Stubborn soda instead of traditional sodas. The quality and flavor of stubborn is OUTSTANDING and very hard to find especially in a fountain.

Mannnnn. I got the Mocha with white chocolate flavor! ��� it's so delicious. And it looks so nice inside. I even loved the restroom! The customer service was AWESOME! I'm so happy this place is by my house now!

I'm always on the search for good ecliptic coffee houses, and Grind Break hit the mark! Delicious, quality coffee in a modern and cheeky setting. Great vibe and good menu. Will definitely stop in for coffee again!

I love this place! It's my new fave spot for meetings, trainings and just hanging out because the atmosphere is great, the good is awesome, and service is superb! These guys go the extra mile!! 😃🙌🏾🍾🎉

Husband and both got a Texacano. I got mine with toffee flavoring. We both agreed it was great coffee and we love the theme of the shop. I also always love shop that will fill my personal cup. I will surely be stopping by here when visiting family in Houston.

Friendly service, food taste delicious I got the unstoppable force panini sandwhich, highly recommend and the coffee was really good no more Starbucks for me.

First time eating here, and there so many great options, It was difficult to choose only one...I tried The “unstoppable force panino” ���� it was so delicious! And The pineapple punch smoothie was yummy too!

Delicious new place off 59 and 1960. Everything is fresh and they make some amazing smoothies. You can tell they take pride in the work they do. If you're driving up on 59 stop on by for some great food and a chill atmosphere. Vegan friendly, too!

Came here for the SFV tournament and have really enjoyed it. Coffee was great, wifi works great , and the place is clean and open. Great place to come chill! Wish we had one closer to us!!

Came for an overwatch Houston Outlaws event. Had the Shiva's Potion (chai) tea, and a bunch of japanese snacks. The staff is fantastic and made sure I was taken care of, as well as even offered to refill my tea for me. I can't wait to get a coffee next time! The space is super modern and clean, and for the event they had a great layout of chairs. My only recommendation for this place growing in the future is to install a speaker system so people can hear the announcers or hear when their drink is ready, and to have a projector screen instead of a small TV so they can have more business by allowing more standing room. Will definitely be back!
