Ok...so for fridays crazy burger day.....LMG decided to bring the meatloaf to the table!! But the fun part about this meatloaf is that it's a burger!! So.....to all you meatloaf lovers......
An 8oz meatloaf patty topped with mashed potatoes drizzled with brown gravy served with a nice iced cold glass of tea for $7.99!!

We eat there at least once a week for lunch, I have never had a bad experience at Grumpy's !! The food is great and the culinary imagination is awesome. A great flavoring of the local Lockhart hospitality is a staple at this cool little place.

This has been by far the best hometown restaurant since they set up shop in Lockhart, I have been coming around so much I really don't even have to order because they know what I like and want as soon as I walk thru the door. Definitely a humble place with great staff that build friendly relationships with their customers. I have had the pleasure of going in tonight and trying their new Manic Monday Burger and I was blown away with the combination of flavor and taste in every bite from the well seasoned patty to the egg that dripped its golden awesomeness with every bite even to the jalapeño and jelly spread on the buns. I highly recommend Grumpy's Burgers and more to everyone and if you are looking for something more then just a burger ask about their special burgers, you will be amazed!

Our family was at Grumpy's Saturday after our son's victory basketball game. I had a crazy craving for a home style burger and I was burnt out and gradually disappointed each time we returned to a certain Lockhart restaurant. So we decided to check yall out. Sitting at our table, I did my 'look over' and was all smiles. The dining area was tidy, clean and floor not sticky as I walked to the women's room to wash up. Wash room , clean, tidy and equipped. Look over the menu, I ordered side salad and fried okra appetizer and cheeseburger 'all the way'. Was impressed with the okra serving and my awesome cheeseburger 'all the way' which was obviously prepared with care!

One of the greatest mishaps, was hoping to catch BBQ but all of them were closed. Seen this little spot and stopped, man was it the greatest!! Awesome food and awesome service!

Me and my family have been eating at Grumpys for a while. We all LOVE it! My favorite is the mushroom burger and homecut fries. Try their fried mushrooms are sweet potato fries too. It's awesome!

Its been awesome two days in a roll,I had their chicken fried steak sandwich twice. Its been totally delicious,jst right. Better then a chicken sandwich frm DQ lol. Yesterday when I got da chicken fried steak sandwich it was worth waiting for during their busy lunch time. Thanks for da delicious chicken fried steak sandwich for two days in roll & plus da service yesterday was steady & calm to serviced their customers. I enjoy grumpy's burgers & more evrytime I get a chance. Give grumpy's a try,its great..... thanks �

I've only been once, but the experience was awesome! Great sweet potato fries and fried shrimp! My mom got a burger and was pleased as well. We will be back!

I've been there many times and the burgers have always been great. I've gotten hooked on the Manic Monday Burger the bacon jam is awesome and is a special sauce that is made there and nobody can get the recipe.

I had their Nutella milkshake yesterday and I should've taken a picture of it but was to anxious to try it I forgot! Within minutes it was gone ��� because it was soooo delicious�.

I had the Grumpy's Cheese Burger with fries and Shake. OMG! If you are looking for a great homemade burger with lots of flavor. This burger's for you. The Shake compliments the meal well, and fries are fries, but good!

Grumpy's is amazing, fell love in Neiderwald, Tx, and moved with them to Lockhart Tx..... It was a Mom and Pop place, miss u Grumpy & Ms Pat, but now run by the lovely Ms Stephanie, thier daughter! Some of the best food in LOC!

Best burger I've had in awhile!! I had the napoleon dynamite burger and a large cold delicious unsweet tea! Very friendly and comforting atmosphere! We will definitely go back! Thank you for the wonderful service Grumpy's! �

Awesome service! Reasonable priced food! It was pretty darn good! I had the BLT and it was just as if it was from Jason’s Deli. Can’t wait to visit again! Make sure to snag a brownie, cookie, or both at the end!

I have been here numerous times before and love the food. However when we had supper here tonite, it was a really bad experience. We ordered some fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Then we each ordered the fried fish platter with a side of fries for me and onion rings for my husband. We each got a side salad as well. First we got our salads.... then the fried mushrooms came and about the same time our meals came. It was timed very poorly and we just didn't enjoy the experience at all..... an appetizer is supposed to get you ready for your meal.... not be served at the same time! On the upside, the food was good as always. We just had a bad experience that we'll take a while getting over.
