I stopped going here because of their bad service I haven't been there in a year but I went yesterday Saturday the food was delicious the service was awesome my waiter was so nice and polite and keep asking if we needed anything else as soon as we got there they took us to a booth right when you walk in to the left I was impressed enjoy my breakfast

They sure do have some dumb employees...we wanted to know about Eggs Benedict, which wasn't listed on the menu but we were told they served it. When we asked what came with it, it was like someone asked the waiter to recite the bible verbatim...he had no clue what we were even talking about. We asked another waitress and she was as clueless as the first guy was but ella hablaba un poco mejor inglés (spoke a little better English). One of the servers supposedly knew but was MIA; outside smoking or on the phone, or both as the others frantically formed a search party to track her down. We finally found a cook that could speak English and knew the answer to our question but by then we had forgotten what the question was. The food came and was pretty good; all things considered. The moral of the story is: If you go to IHOP at 3am and order Eggs Benedict, be prepared for a re-enactment of the Keystone cops in action and a $40 dollar ticket for eggs, english muffins & coffee.

We went for the Halloween scary face pancakes. I didn’t wait long but my food took a while to come out. Then in the middle of my time there they changed waiters. Also, my friend joined me with her kids before the cut off and had to ask to be seated while there was an open booth right next to ours. Then we had to continuously ask for the special which they didn’t want to honor at first bcuz it was after ten even tho we were there well before ten o’clock. And the hostess smelled like liquor and cigarettes. Needless to say they did finally get everything right after being there for two and a half hours.

This is the last time I will be coming here. Our waitress didn't even come towards our table to speak for at least 10 minutes after we were seated. Then when I mentioned it to get she acted like she had an attitude. After she asked for our drink orders she asked " What chew want?". I thought she didn't hear my drink order since she had the girls' repeat the drinks. She then says "Naw, what chew want to eat?".

the restaurant and food are ok, but the personnel is the one that makes the difference... we went sunday 25 to ihop and the waitress was the worst i ever had. my order wasnt how i asked, she never checked if we were ok and to top that up when i asked for more coffee she came with a "why are you bothering me" attitude and with all the intention spill coffee n my food, when i look at her with a smurk on her face ask me "you want me to change your hashbrowns? i will never accept that waitress for my table

You can never order take out from this location. I have called their line on different days and they never answer, it just keeps ringing then the line disconnects. Today I called and they miraculously answered only to tell me I can not order over the phone, I have to come in person to order take out. So what is the point of having the number and a sign inside the restaurant advertising the number to call for take out? Not to mention the times I've gone inside to dine in I've seen people come in stating they are picking up an order that was placed through the phone. Good food but horrible service.

I think the public needs to know how IHOP treats people and how this scary incident could have lead to a mans death.

Last week early Thursday (March 15th) just after midnight this IHOP in Mesquite had a homeless mans car towed. His car had been there no longer than four hours. The man realized something was up when he heard something and felt his car moving he got out the back of his car told the tow guy you cant tow the car he was sleeping in it. The man opened up the front door threw on his jacket and sat in the car with his door open. Tow truck driver took off with the car not even lifted properly with a terrible screeching sound. The tow truck driver dragged the man and he attempted to hold on to his car while his things were thrown out all over the parking lot.

He asked the IHOP manager nicely to use the phone and IHOP didn't even had the decency to do that. To make a long story short 911 was called and after about 2 hours the car was released with the help from the cops since it was a legal tow, but not in the same condition it was towed in. The tire was shredded and car was taken to mechanic and extensive damage was done to the car. Mechanic even said not to even drive it. Now the tow truck company is saying it was a legal tow they were just doing their job. they seem more concerned that they are out money for the tow that almost killing someone. The homeless man is being very reasonable he just wants his car fixed and made several attempts to contact the manager yet they are not getting back with him. He has been playing phone tag with Mesquite Towing and been calling both numbers 214-721-5532 and 972-288-1475 and IHOP has been no help and just ignored him like he was a piece of trash. I would strongly encourage others in Mesquite in the area if you need a tow do not use Mesquite Towing and do not give IHOP your business, if you own a company and have a contract with Mesquite Towing cancel imagine what could happen if they kill someone towing off your property. Ihop at 101 Grand Junction Blvd, Mesquite, Texas 75149 is a coffee shop that deserves recognition. The espresso I savored was a perfect pick-me-up, with a bold flavor that awakened my senses. The café's cozy interior and friendly baristas create a welcoming environment. It's a place where you can take your time and relish every sip. I'll definitely be returning.
