Wonderful retreat back to a different time and place. This place is a gem. Wonderful blue plate specials, great breakfasts, best pies around, and friendly, professional staff. If you find yourself in Justin, do yourself a favor and stop in.

We used Lonesome Spur Catering for our wedding at the Lucky Spur Ranch Venue in Justin. The food was AMAZING! Tracy is super sweet and was a dream to work with. We had so many complements from our guests about the food. Plus by booking with them through the ranch, they took care of serving, linens, plates, chargers, silverware, etc. It took a ton of stress off me and allowed me to enjoy our special day to the fullest! The tables looked gorgeous for the reception, the food was served on time and tasted delicious. Also, with the staff on-sight I didn't have to worry about family members trying to clean off tables because it was already taken care of for us. Thank y'all so much for adding to our wedding and making it absolutely perfect.

The catering team from Lonesome Spur is awesome! Due to inclement weather, we had to change our wedding time and they graciously accommodated! The food was great! The staff was wonderful! I can't say enough good things!

Staff was friendly, portions were Texas sized and the food was amazing. Oh, and this big ‘ol Texas boy was filled up for around $10.

Love the blackened catfish and the rolls are superb. Reminds me of my late Grandmother's "made from scratch" rolls.

Lonesome Spur is in my opinion the best best place to grab breakfast or a healthy serving of lunch. The staff is amazing and friendly. If you have eaten here than you need to stop in.

I. Love. This. Place.

I could stop there, but I'm not gonna! I look forward to breakfast dates with my hubby almost weekly. The cowboy omelet is enough to feed two people. But I'm a pig, so I eat it all myself and don't t have to eat the rest of the day! The staff is always friendly. We've never had a bad experience and have been at least 2 dozen times since moving to Justin. THIS is the place I tell everyone about above all others. And where we take family when they're in town. So so so good!!!

I want to thank Lonesome Spur and their staff for an awesome experience for our car group and awesome food!!! We had approx 17 Challengers that were from Texas and 5 other states. We were able to park together and safely!! The food was amazing!!! Thank you Justin, Tx for showing amazing Texan hospitality!!

First of all, they have THE best coffee...so good, you can drink it black...and I've always added cream. I actually prefer it black there.

And just now, I had some of their Banana Nut Cake, and it's THE BEST I've ever had in my LIFE. And I'm 55...so, that's sayin' something!!

Ate lunch Saturday afternoon @ the Lonesome Spur in Justin TX. It was YUMMY! I think my meal of flower shell tacos and onion rings was the best. But Taylor's Spur burger looks delicious too. I tried to talk Lonnie into the tacos but he wanted the club sandwich. Monica loved her blackened chicken salad with hot sauce added to the dressing for extra kick.

All of the staff are so nice and stop by your table to see if you need anything. We really like the food. Big portions so we get our homemade desserts to go.

We used Lonesome Spur Catering for our wedding since they are the in-house caterer for the Lucky Spur Ranch venue. Let me start by saying that the food was AMAZING. We did a BBQ menu with 3 meats and 3 sides, as well as several cocktail hour appetizers and even breakfast burritos for the morning after. The food was top notch.



My 3 star review is completely due to communication issues. When planning a wedding, there are so many different moving parts and vendors to hire and plan with. When it came to Lonesome Spur, we found communication very lacking. It was difficult to get questions answered and things constantly seemed to be forgotten or missed between phone calls and emails. This resulted in a lot of unnecessary back and forth and follow up on our end. If someone was hired on to manage the planning and communication so the chefs can focus on the food, this catering company would be a great choice for your wedding.



With all this being said, the day of our wedding Tracy and team really delivered on everything that we discussed and went above and beyond their responsibilities as the caterer for the event. The food was great and guests loved it!

The food was great. The service was awful. We saw our waitress twice; once when she took our order, then when she came by to drop the check. We asked a different server who was our filling coffee for orange juice, because our waitress had disappeared. He never added it to our check or brought it. It's about the same distance for us to go to the Old West Cafe in Sanger, which is where we will have our breakfast dates from now on. At Old West, they are always crowded, but also always friendly, prompt, and the food is amazing.

The atmosphere here is nice but the food is very bland in my opinion.. my husband and I both ordered the Justin scramble and the eggs tasted like powdered eggs, the hash browns were undercooked, the gravy was runny and had no flavor.. the biscuits were probably the only good part of this dish! Not sure we will be trying this place again.. at least the prices are good �

canned vegetables, greasy fried stuff including eggs (which is hard to do), pie consisted mostly of cool whip with a little filling and soggy crust.. no thx.. not again

Worst service in town. I have been there several time on Saturday morning with my daughter. The gentleman that takes your drink order is quick and friendly. There are two lady's who could be sisters that take care of the regulars as soon as the walk in. Very rarely do they greet a new or non regular when they walk in. I have waited for up to 20 minutes with no one taking my order and almost every time I order they bring me hash browns. I am a diabetic and should not eat potatoes. I don't order them so don't bring them.

Usually have great food and service. Not today. Horrible food and service!! When I mentioned the fact that my food was horrible to the cashier, she got an attitude! I'll have to mention that to my boss who usually has lunch catered by y'all at least once a year! Sad to lose such good business because of attitude!
