We came there from France. It was actually the best place we went during our travel.... and we loved it !

People were always with a smile on their face !

Food and drink were so good and yummy !

We finished our travel on good vibes because of this place and their people.

We absolutely love this place. The staff is so kind and friendly. The food and smoothies are amazing. I leave feeling full and refreshed after eating here. It has a tropical Cuban vibe that takes you out of Atlanta and in to an oasis. Such a cute spot.

The best fruit cups in Atlana.The sandwiches are unbelievable, and the smoothies very smooth and delicious.Cuban coffee with a unique coconut crema on top and breakfast sandwiches made with fresh ingredients and lots lots of love. Very friendly enviroment.Pets very wellcome.

Myrna! I haven't seen you since 2007, but I was just passing through Atlanta airport and saw your shop there! Exciting and just as delicious as I remember! This place has been an Atlanta gem since it opened and I used to walk up for breakfast on my way to work. Get yourself to Lotta Frutta however you can!

My boyfriend and I were in the area after I picked him up for the airport, and we were craving a quick and cheap lunch. I remembered I had bookmarked LottaFrutta on Yelp so I suggested we try it, and boy am I glad that we did! Right in the heart of Old Fourth Ward near Edgewood and the MLK Center, this Tropical/Caribbean style place is a sight for sore eyes. Colorful umbrellas everywhere and a line of people that stretches outside the door let you know you've come to the right place. The menu is simple: there's a selection of fruit smoothies, fruit cups, and pressed sandwiches. There was a little line at the register which gave us time to read everything over and decide. I chose the Just Veggin sandwich after hearing so many great things about it on here, and let me tell you it was everything and more! Warm, sweet bread, creamy avocado, gooey cheese, OH MY! My boyfriend had the Pavo del Ocho (turkey sandwich with havarti cheese). For me the sandwich was a bit too sweet and there wasn't anything else to break up the intense cheese and turkey flavor. (I like my sandwiches with a lot of stuff on them) But I have to admit, for a sandwich with only two items on it, and turkey being something I don't even like all that much, it was damn tasty. Now that I look online I see that you can add some veggies to the turkey sandwich for only 25 cents which is great.



For our drinks we chose two fruit smoothies. I chose Pura Pasion which had Mango and another fruit that I don't remember, and the bf chose one with guanabana (soursop). You get to choose if you want your smoothies made with OJ, pineapple juice, milk, or water, which I thought was cool. We chose milk to get the full creaminess. Next time I go I'll ask if they have almond or coconut milk, because for me that's the ultimate substitute - all the creaminess without the extra sugar. Needless to say our smoothies were the bomb.



What makes it the best is the staff here. The girl that took our order at the front was so sweet and helpful as I struggled to decide which smoothie was best for me and what I wanted it mixed with. The owner is a cool and quirky Cuban guy. He came out and talked to us right away, asked us how we were doing, found out my boyfriend is part Cuban and part Dominican, and started chatting away with us in Spanish. It was really neat. We felt right at home even though it was our first time. He even gave us two little Cuban coffees on the house! We must have stayed there talking and eating for over an hour, which was quite a while for this place since they serve the food fast and a lot of people took theirs to go or simply ordered fruit cups. I can't say enough good things about it! I am really glad we took the time to stop in ATL before going back to Gwinnett to try this little gem. I saw so many people coming and going while we were there that the owner knew by name, and I love that. This place really seems like it's a part of the community. If you are anywhere near the area it is definitely worth a stop. In fact, it's well worth the 40 minute drive from Gwinnett.



Our two sandwiches and two smoothies came out to just under $25, a price I thought was very fair for the quality of the ingredients and the care that LF puts into the creations. There is ample parking on the street in front of the shop, but we chose to park at the MLK Center and walk the 1/2 mile to get a little exercise. We will definitely be back! I will start my review the way I start all of them.





If I don't like a place, I don't leave a review. I contact the owner personally to give him/her advice. Lots of people leave a review just to vent.



Now in to the review of this place. As far as uniqueness , of the place, you can't beat it. It adds a smile to my face because it's so different. It's very refreshing to the mind to go to businesses that are not identical everywhere. As far as the attention , it was amazing. Chi chi the gentleman from Cuba , couldn't have been more fun to order from. When we were outside , he came to talk to us , and treated my entire family like his own.



As far as the food , you can't beat a healthier more fun menu. We tried multiple items. From sandwiches , to smoothies , to fruit cups. Nothing disappointed. All very fresh. The way they presented , and wrapped the sandwiches was very unique. Chi chi was right about the "best" grilled cheese sandwich you will ever have. Thank you for attending my family the way you did. My kids loved the place. Great diversity on the menu , the personnel , and the decorations. Will make the 45 minute drive again to come visit.

I went for the first time yesterday and I loved it!!! The people there were soo nice and friendly made me feel right at home as if I were back in Honduras! Definitely reccomend for everyone to give it a try рҹҳӢ BTW their Cuban cafe is magnificent!

I live in Boston and everytime I come to Atlanta I stop in. The food and atmosphere transports me to the Caribbean. Friendly and welcoming. Stop in and you won't be disappointed.

I just started a new fitness lifestyle and watched a segment about your restaurant on GPB last night. So I drove up with my director and 2 year old in tow and let me tell you - you did not disappoint. I tried the veggie sandwich (bread has no egg no dairy) and was completely floored at how amazing it tasted....I had to fight the 2 year old for the sandwich. I also loved the limonetta....reminds me of the mangos on a stick I would get when in Mexico...so fresh and so bright with flavor. My only complaint is that there is only one LottaFruitta and that you are in the 4th ward. Please open one up in the Stockbridge area...I promise I will be your biggest fan, supporter, and advocate. Spending almost $20 (purchased 3 things) & not liking 1 smoothie I went to the counter to see if I could change the flavor (simply requesting something different). The male cashier, the "brother of the owner" as he explained himself to be (a short, fat, balding guy) attempted to charge me again for the replacement. Questioning why I was required to pay again he belligerently refused to make any accommodations. After requesting to speak to the owner, he explained she wasn't there so I asked for her # & he handed me a business card. Very queenly behavior for a man w/no regard for customer service or satisfaction. The female owner then comes from the back & not only gives me a refund but fully assists me in making another selection free. While she apologized for the behavior of her brother it was unfortunate that she excused his behavior by stating that "everyone has a bad day". She personally made me another drink which was way better. Just as a suggestion, I really would consider NOT allowing "the brother" to physically handle anything as I caught him picking his nose while standing in the kitchen. Maybe he should find his own business to ruin b/c the actual owner CLEARLY is well versed in what it takes to OWN & RUN a business.
