Great food, portions, and prices. Be prepared to go early or wait a while. The waiting area/check out area is poorly designed and can be like running a gauntlet when leaving. The POS system is not friendly to those not tech say and can slow down the lines. Just chill, enjoy the food and family, and you'll be fine.

I give this OWC a 6. It is the best Chicken Fried Chicken breast I have ever had. It was not some pounded thin piece of meat. It was the full THICK breast. The breaded coating was great. This place has absolutely the best sausage gravy I have ever had. The Fried Jalapeno's are a must; so are the Fried Green beans. Biscuits and gravy are some of the best. Service is top notch. You have got to go here.

I cannot wait to go back.

They changed the menu slightly recently. WHY? Its still the BEST comfort food / breakfast in a fun environment in the area. Long lines and full parking lot on weekends means exactly what you think it means! This place is awesome.

The food arrived cold and was nasty with maybe the exception of one item. I do not recall our waitress checking on us even once. When we went to pay the bill, the cashier asked how everything was. We told her it was "OK." When she inquired further, we more accurately described our experience. She called the manager over. The manager was snotty: "Why didn't you say anything sooner?" she asked, in an irritated tone of voice. "Now, it's really too late for me to do anything," she continued. She then "graciously" deducted $3.00 from our $50+ bill. We certainly won't be back! We can get better food and nicer treatment elsewhere.

Excellent food. We almost always get breakfast because it is so good. The pancakes are huge and they have a variety of flavors. I have had the chicken fried steak also and it was a really large portion. You get a lot of food for what you pay. Be prepared to wait because it is popular but it is worth the wait.

You must try this place if you love a great breakfast! Biscuits and gravy, the bacon and cinnamon crisp french toast were amazing. Eggs and fresh fruit to go with made it a wonderful breakfast. Server Faith was excellent as well with great recommendations. Give it a try if your around the area before 2pm.

First place we have eaten breakfast at in Texas since we moved here (yesterday) i think we have found our new breakfast spot. Service is great. Food is better. And price is very reasonable for what you get. I'll be back.

This place is great! You get a lot of food for your money, so you're guaranteed to leave full & happy! And, the service is great! Came in on Sunday morning, & got seated before I knew it.

Love this breakfast brunch joint! There are reasons why it is voted best breakfast joint in the DFW area! It is great and haven't had a bad meal. Portions are huge so be prepared to chow down. Their French toast and their pancake selection are an absolute delight. Come in with a nice appetite and trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely perfect! Our waitress Anna was probably the best we have ever had help us anywhere! She knew exactly how to tailor the order to what we said we liked and every suggestion was aimed toward our best interest and enjoyment!
The food lived up to everything we read prior to coming in and my wife and I look forward to finding a reason to come to OWC quite often!
What's great is....

Eat here for breakfast and then Tommy Tamale for dinner!!
So close and both so perfectly enjoyable!

Wonderful breakfast location. On Sunday there is a really long wait, but that's because everyone loves this page so much. Huge selection of omelets and classic American breakfast fare. Great prices. Highly recommended.

The food here is excellent. Service is always pretty good. Overall this is a great place to eat. The only issue I have is kind of uncontrollable, and that is parking. There is absolutely no where to ever park here.

How does this place not have more reviews? We've lived here 4 years and go about once a month. The portions are generous and the prices reasonable. Breakfast for two adults one kid was around $25. Great homestyle cooking. We love taking out of town guests here.

One of the best old-fashioned American breakfast places around Grapevine. They have managed to keep the food somewhat healthy, even though it is not a place you visit if you are trying to lose weight. The only issue we ever had is the seating. A table for two can feel very small, especially when you order a lot of food.
