Great place for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and pastry. Sometimes wait can be long, but it's worth it.

I’ve visited a few times and it seems to be the same thing each time. Expensive and he flavors aren’t that great. The restaurant is cute though and the desserts are amazing. I know where they get their ingredients and I can tell you this is some fresh stuff. I’ve ordered sandwiches and couldn’t believe they charge so high for a single sandwich without sides. That’s ridiculous. Plus, I’ve had two sandwiches so far that had so much bread that everything inside got lost. It became bland. The other sandwich had so much bread and toasted so hard that the roof of my mouth got pretty scratched up. You can have all the freshness in the world but if it’s missing flavors, you lost me. It’s a nice place though to relax and sit in a rustic place. The atmosphere relaxes you a lot. The food just needs more thought and those prices are crazy. I don’t mind paying $8-12 for a sandwich but it better be amazing with some sides.

Awesome food. We missed breakfast but were very pleasantly surprised. This place is cute without pretense and the food is worth the ambiance.

I think this place has improved quite a bit. The atmosphere is laid back and comfy. I had tea and a scone that was huge. The scone was excellent! Since I make scones, I wrinkle my nose when it's not the real thing. The tea selection was also very good. Unfortunately, the self serve hot water wasn't hot enough to brew it. In fairness, I didn't ask them to fix the problem. The counter help was friendly and cheerful.
My last visit was a few years ago and not good and I've avoided going there since that time. This most recent visit was a much better experience. I'll be back.

Gosh, this place is so good! Their Cadillac cookie is something every cookie fan should try, and their breakfast croissant sandwiches are a delightful way to begin one's day. If you're anywhere near this place do make an effort to stop in. ;]

Brilliant home kitchen. I have never been disappointed with the quality or excellent flavors. Best of all, atmosphere ranges from a happy bustle to calm and relaxed. Love this place and I always see a familiar face. Scratch bread/pastries, espresso coffee tea.

Always fresh food. A few times I got my food cold.
Serve is friendly. They don't talk about the food much as if they are not educated about the menu or food.
Bread is sliced too thick. And very unfortunate manageable to eat.
Outdoor area is nice.
Parking is slim.
I like all the cold tea options!

An absolutely lovely place to spend an afternoon! The menu had plenty of vegetarian options and some of the best carrot cake I've ever had. Your four-legged furry friends are even welcome to join you if you dine outside. The wait was a bit long so I wouldn't recommend this place if you're in a rush but it the food was very fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

The only critique I have is the portions are on the small side for the price. But I think you pay for the charming, eclectic atmosphere and good quality food so in my opinion it's worth it.

Don't hesitate to give it a try!

Best bakery in the hill country, best breakfast sandwhich this side of the rockies.

Always worth the wait. Homey atmosphere combined with a twist of France. Be sure to order as many baked goods as you can eat. The desserts are imaginative and fabulous. Sensitive to vegetarians, and a few gf options are available. A lunch you will remember - bring a friend or two!

Slow service but a cute location and good, homemade food plus baked goods.

Cute little restaurant in Wimberly, nice for a relaxed breakfast if you don't want anything too fancy. The oatmeal tends to be a bit runny and was underdone once(oatmeal should not be crunchy) but when I mentioned it to a waitress she insisted on getting a new bowl, which was nice of her. Definitely don't come here if you're in a hurry, they don't exactly move quickly. I think the best time to go is on a weekend morning when can relax and take your time. If the weather cooperates, the outdoor seating area is very pretty as well
