We popped in here for date night with some friends and were shocked by the deliciousness of the food!!! The cheese pastry was so good I have been thinking about it nonstop! The bread is absolutely divine. The menu is simple but every single thing we ordered was so good. Our server was cheerful and happy to answer all of our questions and at the end of our meal the owner Came out to welcome us and see how our experience was! Definitely happy this is located right by my house- I can't wait to go back!

We have been there twice and each time we have recived exalent service. They are very attentive and knowledgeable. The food is now my favorite and if we are able to go out they are our first choice. On top of it the prices are outstanding ( in the good way :) ) for the amount of food you recived and the quality. Everything is made in house and from scratch !!!

Very tasty, very fresh, we called in our order, it was ready when we got there. Bosnian Mix plate, very generous portions of meat, sausages, chicken and grilled veggies. The spices are so good! Both the Pita bread and the bread that came with the order of hummus were very soft fresh and good! The side salad was fresh and crisp! The Baklava was the best I've ever tasted. I definitely recommend Sofra Bosnian Grill!

The friendliest, most hospitable, and client satisfaction driven restaurant at which I've eaten in a long, long time! And the food is insanely delicious to boot! I may have just discovered my new favorite restaurant in Meridian!

The food is fresh. The bread is baked in house and all the vegetables are fresh. Nothing is in a can or bag or freezer. They make it from scratch right there. A real mom and pops establishment with the best Burek you will ever find in Boise. I loved this little place and am telling all my friends about it. It was beyond heaven.

Sofra is a hidden treasure in Meridian. I went in without facing tried Bosnian good before and now I’m a regular at least every other week. I’ve never had a bad meal. So delicious!

Sofra has so much to offer other than the food and atmosphere, It gives those in the Magic Valley the opportunity to learn about the Bosnian culture through food. Being Bosnian I always take my friends there and not only am I proud of Sofra but also my culture. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Oh my gosh...such yummy made in-house breads, fresh salad and incredible food. A slight twist on Greek food. All sauces are homemade...in fact everything in the restaurant is scratch made and delish!! The salad is fresh, crisp and the dressing is yummmm! Don't miss the large slice of cake that is made without sugar...sooo yummy! Eagle and Overland...so super easy access!! Thanks Edena!!

I've never had Bosnian food before so wasn't quite sure what to expect. I had the cheese pie which looks sort of like a danish pastry but it is savory with a flaky crust and delicious. My husband had the stuffed cabbage which he loved. There wasn't a speck left on his plate. The staff are very friendly. The decor is minimal but the food is so good it teally doesn't matter.

I've been to Sofra several times now and the service and food is consistently impressive. The food is prepared and cooked to perfection. Great music and atmosphere as well! I felt as if I was back home or perhaps at my mama's house. Keep it up guys and thanks for the hospitality.

I went here with a girlfriend. I had never eaten Bosnian food and up until that evening, I didn't even know where it was located geographically!

I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors of everything as well as freshness. I'm 100% Greek, and each bite took me back to my roots as a kid watching how to cook these Epicurean delights sitting in the kitchen while Mom and Yia-Yia cooked.

The service (thank you Arlan) was great, the atmosphere comfy and casual and the food a big YES! The only thing that hampered our dining experience was the volume of the TV's. With each television showing something different, combined with the loud volume, it affected our overall experience. But, after meeting the owner on the way out, I think she'd be glad to accommodate this kind of customer request to turn them down a bit. I'll be back for sure! Great job, Sofra!

Great place to get a feel of the Bosnian culture, cuisine and much more.

Great authentic Bosnian food, great service, very nice and clean restaurant! I disagree with the reviews that talk about this place lacking atmosphere... tasteful, minimal décor, lite Bosnian music, very clean restaurant and impeccable bathroom that offers lotion for customers( who doesn't love that in this dry climate?) create a nice family setting. Be aware, food takes time to get to you here as it's fresh, made to order and it's simply part of Bosnian culture, like most of Europe's, to slowly enjoy yr meal and not be constantly bombarded with wait staff. Being a Bosnian, I'm happy to have this place to go to in-between monthly trips to my mom's kitchen. Enjoy!

First time coming here, had split the mix plate. It was fantastic. Really great food and great service. We will definitely be coming back and recommend it.

Excellent food! Everything we have tried has been delicious!

It does take a while for your food but the wait is worth it! Very clean place and friendly people!

Excellent food and atmosphere! Small portion of cevapi was plenty and the lepina was amazing! A breath of fresh air for the Boise area and much needed Bosnian eatery.

Excellent Mediterranean/Bosnian cuisine. Fantastic service. Perfect choice for lunch with plenty of delicious and healthy options! Strongly recommend!

P.S. Try the meat or cheese pie, both made with fresh hand made Phyllo dough and cap off lunch with Turkish coffee. Enjoy!

Delicious food and friendly staff. Sofra is the place to go if you want to try some authentic Bosnian dishes. Thank you Edina and staff for serving 15 of us from Boise State two weeks ago!
