The absolute best seafood and gumbo in all of Southeast Texas!! I tell everyone I know about The Bayou Cafe...I will not go anywhere else!!! Awesome, awesome food!!!!

My favorite restaurant hands down...great atmosphere and great service...I eat at the Beaumont location about 2 or 3 times a week. Highly recommend this establishment!

Happy with the food! Always fresh tasting. Their poboys are great! The facility however needs a good cleaning. The chairs have crumbs in the slats. The beverage area has spillage and grunge all around it. Floor need a good mopping... My shoes were sticking to the floor and the AC was not working very well so we were uncomfortable. We have been here on several different occasions and this has always been the case.
