Retama avenue Is blocked off you may need to come through mesquite avenue and drive through the barricade to get to the shoulder to access our driveway. The repairs are expected to be done today.

We've come here several different times. We stop in for happy hour drinks...always pleasant. We had breakfast for the first time. As looking over the menu we felt there prices were a bit on the steep side but our food was good. My glass of milk was 2.75 and came in a alcoholic fancy drink glass...which was small mind you...they gave us a glass of water which was large...why not serve the milk in that? The servers are always pleasant. Experience is always a good one but some of the prices need adjusted.

We went there for breakfast and the food was excellent and our waiter was great. We were able to enjoy the great view on the patio with our dog as they are pet friendly. I would highly recommend this place when you visit SPI

This restaurant had more of the feel of the Caribbean than any other place we sent to at South Padre. Food was excellent. Reasonable prices. I ordered the monte Cristo and wedge salad. Our waiter realized I really did not want the side fit the sandwich and gave us a break on the price to eliminate the chips. I really appreciate that service. My husband got a fish basket and said it was the best he had on our trip. Cooked just right. Too many places overcook fish. What I saw looking in the window of a vacant room, the rooms look nice. For a return visit both the restaurant and hotel would be on our list. We saw some people staying with their dogs and would consider bringing ours here.

This place is great to visit. The food is fresh and wonderful. The view of the gulf can’t be beat. I wish I could keep it a secret so I could visit any time without waiting.

This is the best place stay and the staff is super nice and helpful. Rooms are great and short walk to the Beach. Cafe has the best service and great bartenders to make your drinks. Real close to all Businesses and Dog 🐕 Friendly 👍😎

The Palms is one of the best little getaways on SPI!

Hoping to plan a weekend there soon. The rooms look so homey and comfortable. We enjoy the beachside cafe with delicious food, drinks and excellent staff.

Room was clean , service was great . It’s very convenient to walk to the beach . Enjoyed our stay be back soon . Do you think you all could extend the carpet that you walk to the beach on, all the way to where you set up your umbrella (lol)

It's a small little resort and restaurant. Very cozy and cute. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. It's on the Beach! And it's Pet Friendly.

If your looking to spend your vacation on the island relaxing and close to the water. I highly recommend this place. My family and I really enjoyed the stay!!! I liked the fact that after being at the beach the resort had an outside shower to rinse off the sand so we wouldn’t have to drag it back in the room. The little things made it enjoyable.

I just spent four days at the Palms Resort and it was fantastic! Between the location to the beach, the friendly staff, and the amazing food at the Cafe, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else for my next trip to SPI.

I highly recommend the Palm’s cafe if you are ever at South Padre Island!🏖 My husband’s coworker recommended it to us. We had breakfast/brunch there! The food is delicious, prices are decent & service was very good!! #restaurantsthatrock #spi #yummy #onthebeach #vaycaymode

Great food, nice view, good wine selection, servers are attentive and an awesome menu items to go with the great drink specials.

I especially liked the healthy food and smoothies.

Great food and excellent service. The staff was very kind and made you feel at home. I had a breakfast plate, I recommended the raisin toast on the side of your meal.

Amazing! The crab cakes were excellent, salmon too! Bartender fixed us up right on our drinks!

Menu is small which I like, the food was really good (eggs benedict) and the staff was exceptional! Go for the view and quality eats, return for the ambiance and friendly staff.
