Excellent place for food. My tuna sandwich was amazing. I never would have thought to mix honey and cinnamon into tuna salad. What a surprise! The service was good, but the servers were swamped. They did their best on a busy lunch day.

I love this place. Wife loves it. Great food and great craft beer. Not to well known so it's perfect for a date night. Highly recommend this restaurant. San Marcos staple. Go there you will be happy.

Love the ambiance and character. The staff was extremely friendly. Give both a 5 star. The kids menu was a hit and devoured by our 4 & 6 year old. Was a little underwhelmed with the adult food. It sounded great on the menu, but was a little bland in flavor. Maybe I just picked the wrong item. Overall would recommend and I'd suggest looking thru reviews for the must order item.

Oh my god, the food here was so good. Great selection of local beers. I had my one year old son with me and both my wife and I forgot to bring formula. The staff got us a bottle of milk and warmed it up just right. I cannot say how awesome they were.

My friend Mary Ann loves this place and w/ that said, i enjoy it very much now after having been here several times. I usually asked for the same because it was just that good, the veggie burger!! They have a wonderful staff that are always happy to see you and the owners are just lovely people also. I can't wait to be back in Texas to come back for some great food.

We used them for our wedding catering, . Best thing i did, The bride was very happy with food, staff professionalism, equipment, the process of planning the wedding. . We dealt with Megan, and she made planning the wedding easy and relaxing for us. I am very happy with their services. thank you very much.

Had breakfast this morning. It was my first visit and the food was good, BUT, I ordered decaf coffee because caffeine gives me migraines, and was given regular coffee. I was specific, was told it had to be brewed and would I mind the wait. That was no problem. It was really good coffee which should have told me there was something wrong as decaf usually lacks flavor. I asked for a refill and when she brought the carafe, I asked again if this was decaf and was told it was. A few sips in, the caffeine began to hit me, shakes, heart pounding, head bursting. It had to be the first cup because a few sips from the second could not have taken effect that quickly.

I am not sure who brewed the coffee, so I don't know whether the waitress disregarded my request and then lied to me or if the person who brewed it disregarded the request and then lied to the waitress or maybe it was an honest mistake all the way around.

However, be it intentional or a mistake it is very concerning that more care is not given to a specific dietary request. What if I had a life-threatening allergy to something? I don't think I would patronize this restaurant for fear they don't take these issues seriously. But if you have no issues, the food was good, done perfectly (I'm pretty picky about my eggs), the service was okay, quick, but don't expect refills on drinks without asking, and the pricing is average for the area.

On a week night we got seated immediately. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being pushy or invasive. Food was nicely portioned and presentation was fine. Their beer is improving though still rustic. Great spot for a clean bite with the family or friends.

Delicious every time I have gone. I prefer to order breakfast, because I could eat that all day for any meal. I also love their desserts. Very cute place underneath another building. Just off the square. Not cheap but not expensive. Cute place for brunch.

Always delicious food, great service, great atmosphere. They come up with seasonal plates and sometimes daily specials. There are more traditional and some unusual options. It's a great place to go if you want some good healthy food as well. This is probably my favorite sit-down restaurant in SM, though it can be pretty pricey. I recommend going for a special occasion.

Fascistic flavors. Everything on the menu send to have a bit of a unique twist, and in a good way. The standard items are amazing (definitely try the prosciutto asparagus risotto with Cajun chicken), and the daily specials will keep it tasty and fresh for the frequent visitors. Great beers! Service is top notch as well.

Really enjoyed this place. First time here, but well worth the trip. Food was very good. I had a Korean BBQ flat bread, the special. The menu was plentiful with choices. The meals were each a delicious presentation. Next time I'm in town, I'm going back. It is in a cellar, which adds a nice touch to the place. Outside seating is available, if you're interested.

This is one of the best restaurants in San Marcos for the quality, passion of the owners and the friendly staff. The food is always delicious. I always feel that I eat a healthy meal there without compromising taste.

This place is by far the sweetest secret in town... I love the quiche here and enjoy the atmosphere as well. Highly recommend for dates, meetings or even small sized events!-)

Wonderful staff and delicious food! We loved that every table was a different, old table. Lots of little touches to make it unique and fun.

I had the Sheppard's Pie and it was delicious. Thinking about it now makes me sad I'm not in San Marcos. . .
