The food is super duper good here. I ordered a pork chop. The only complaint that I have is that the pork chops don't taste like pork chops. It tasted more like a country fried pork steak. Nevertheless, whatever it was it was really good. The mashed potatoes were exceptional. The dinner rolls were delicious I could have ate 10 rolls :)
This is a AWESOME place. They have a hamburger called the Big Nasty. It features two grill cheese sandwichs (one for the top bun and the other for the bottom) a one (1) pound patty of beef, 6-8 slices of bacon three onion rings and ketchup and mayo. If you can't handle something like that (like me) then I suggest trying some of their other wonderful food. I give them a 110 on their service and the taste of the food.
We are looking for a place to get a good steak dinner. We were told to go to Annie's Cafe. We did not have High Hopes walking in the door of this little hole-in-the-wall tucked away restaurant. Much to our surprise it is some of the best food we have ever eaten I highly recommend it!
Great food with great customer service. Always friendly and nice. Be prepared to wait a little longer than normal if you go during peak hours. Food is always made fresh.
My husband and I brought my mother here while she was in town visiting - it was everyone's first time there, and we loved it! The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and just awesome overall. This is now our "go to" restaurant. We went on steak night and then again the next morning for breakfast. Steaks are AMAZING and breakfast is too. This is the ONLY place in Alabama where my husband will order biscuits and gravy - it's delicious! The quality of the food at Annie's is impeccable, and they really take pride in what they do here. Will be going back again!
Our food and service was outstanding!!! Our server was polite, courteous, and friendly. They accommodated our large group of 16 and none of us came away disappointed. Everyone agreed this restaurant was top notch. We think it should be in a segment of Diners, Drive ins, and Dives. Guy Fieri would love this place!!!!
Service is awful unless you're a local.
I walked in behind another customer who was greeted and stood for a while because I was unsure if I should take a seat. It took eight minutes before somebody told me to sit down. I was ready to order but sat there waiting for someone to address me. In the meantime, two families walked in and were greeted promptly -- even offered drinks.
I left soon after that. I'm telling my friends to avoid this place because Southern Hospitality for visitors definitely doesn't exist here.
Food and service were awesome. Hamburgers are fresh not frozen. Fair prices. Food prepared well. Will definitely come back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great food, friendly staff, classic casual diner feel. From the black and white photos on the walls to the dinner plates the food is served on, everything about this place is classic, casual, and great! If you are looking for a great sandwich, burger, or classic home cooked meal, Annie's is the place for you!
The food at Annie's is Special. Each burger is patted out by hand. I saw the owner making them myself! I had the BEST fried pork chop of my life here! It was so tender, I don't know what I could compare it to.
I will definitely be back.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture BEFORE I ate every bite. But I did get a photo of the cute plates that remind me of the ones my mother had over 20 years ago.
Came early Friday for steak night. Great food steak exceptional and cooked to perfection. Best steak in town. Steaks only served Wednesday Thursday and Friday night. Be first to before they run out.
Really good burger, just a bit over done. Sweet potato fries are awesome. Busy time for lunch which is a good sign.
The steak dinner is absolutely amazing. They literally have steaks that will melt in your mouth. They are great at bussing tables quickly. Very very casual. Baked potatoes are absolutely huge and loaded up. Yum. It is a little pricey. But OH SO WORTH IT. THE COBBLER DESSERT IS TO DIE FOR. ENJOY
We dropped by Annie's on our way to PCB. The food was amazing and the hospitality was great! We like to visit local/homegrown businesses when we get to travel. Annie's is a family owned and run business. We enjoyed visiting with the family that runs it. We also enjoyed the burgers! They were awesome! The onion rings and corn fritters were delish! Do yourself a favor and stop by Annie's in Enterprise, Alabama! You'll be glad you did!
