Birmingham Roast is looking for an eager and experienced individual who is capable of running our kitchen operation! Responsibilities include prep for different menu items/spreads upon shift arrival to ensure menu items can be prepared quickly and efficiently as possible. Key attributes include but not limited to: handles high volume well, ability to multi task, cares about quality of product being produced. Individual must adhere to timeliness, organized, cleanliness, and prioritize orders as received (i.e. in store vs. tablets). Most importantly, it is essential he/she works well in a team environment and has an optimistic attitude for the role and contributes to the welcoming culture and friendly staff that is in place at Birmingham Roast!

Our barista, Caleb, won a latte art throw down this past Thursday at the 10th Anniversary Party for Desert Oasis Coffee Roasters! Over 32 of Detroit’s best baristas competed in this competition and Caleb took home 1st place! Seriously, such a wonderful vibe from this shop. Excellent hospitality and the drinks/food were great. Also, the barista Andy was so kind and helpful which led us to having a great customer experience.

Only place in Michigan where you can use the Coffee Ripples app to choose or create your own picture or text atop the foam layer of your latte. Unique interior design. Amazing staff, friendly atmosphere and great location. My number one coffee shop in MI!!!

Love the vibe! Drinks and food were both amazing, would highly recommend the almond toast. Staff was very friendly compared to most the spots in Birmingham.

I love the green peach apricot tea! And their banana bread is to die for! Their ripple machine is so cool, you can get any picture you want on your latte or kuppa joy!

Exceptional quality both in the liquid & solid forms. Banana bread is delectable. Be sure to add an egg to your avocado toast- delicioso! Not for the faint of wallet, however you pay for what you get!
