We've had a good number of customers from PCB and other areas affected by Hurricane Michael this week, and it's honestly been really heartwarming to watch the way our staff and regulars have welcomed them and encouraged them in a difficult situation. We are enormously proud to be a part of such a beautiful community. ❤️

The response to our #hopehoneylatte has been incredible! As you know, this month we’re offering this drink as a delicious way you can donate to @donnas_hope, a non-profit that helps support breast cancer survivors as they walk through the process of reconstruction and recovery. ❤️

As you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. We have partnered with someone dear to our hearts, whose battle with breast cancer led her to start a foundation for breast cancer survivors, @donnas_hope. Two Big Deals: 1) SO EXCITED AHH!!! The October issue of @mobilebaymagazine featured local female business owners in an editorial fashion shoot, including our very own @courtneyhilley. We also made the cover 😭❤️. Read the spread starting on page 46!
2) Our @diedrichroasters Roaster comes in today, meaning we can officially move our roasting program in house. 🙌🏻We will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) in order to give our guys a full day to hook this baby up, and will re-open Friday! So, come in today and grab a bag of coffee to make coffee at home in the morning, or drink two days worth with us. :)

The cappuccino is a good drink to judge a café by. The 2:1 milk-to-espresso ratio means there's not much room to hide how good or bad your espresso tastes, and the relatively small drink size means your milk has to be steamed and poured perfectly to get good texture and latte art presentation. #themoreyouknow
