Their cookies and cakes are wonderful. Be patient on Saturdays, they are very busy. They have great sandwiches and other treats.
The Caramel Cake is all that, and a petit four! It is SO delicious. Sounds like a great house warming party gift.
There’s no doubt that Edgar’s has great food and baked goods. However, every single time I have been to this specific Edgar’s, they have messed up my order or took more than 25 minutes to bring me my food even when the restaurant is not crowded. Every single time. It’s obvious that management is not great because the employee turnover is crazy. Everyone at the registers never has a clue what they are doing, and there have been at least three different managers since I started going there. It’s chaos. It’s obvious that there is not much organization. So I would recommend going there if you are not on any sort of time schedule and if you have a good bit of patience to spare.
I am so disappointed in my visit to Edgar’s at the Colonnade today. I ordered the Lifelong salad expecting the delicious and healthy salad I had gotten two months ago and as described on the menu. There was no kale, no healthy “soft” lettuces as listed in the description on the menu. Instead I was given almost a whole plate of iceberg lettuce with a slice of Brussels spout with black on the tip. I took my plate back to the front and the salad was remade with romaine lettuce, a tiny bit of kale (I knew kale was in it because there were bits of kale stalk with black ends I pulled out of the salad.). The salad, when made according to the description on the menu is delicious. Today it was not made according to the description and the greens were not fresh. This is the first time I have ever gotten a disappointing item from Edgar’s.
SMBC the church I work for introduced me to the amazing cakes from here. I bought my daughter a Red Velvet cake for her birthday. She loved it. I heard everything is wonderful here. It's very true! Thanks Edgar's.
Loved the vibes. I travel around to taste and see, and this place took me by surprise. Thank you so much!
dinner rolls are heavenly and most cakes and sweets are great at the Colonnade. Its not cheap but much better than any of the grocery stores. Am headed now too pick up dozen rolls and probably chocolate pound cake.
I ordered monogrammed Petit Fours and they looked like a child did it. This was supposed to be a birthday surprise and I'm too embarrassed to give these.
Stood for a while at the register before anyone acknowledged us.
Food was good. The veggie melt was good but the tomato soup was cold.
After eating, we ordered breakfast and our choices were put in a paper bag, upside down, without any wax paper or napkins.
Good for a quick bite I suppose, but I'm not impressed with how uninterested they were in the people eating there.
The wedding planner/cake coordinator here is absolutely wonderful. Her name is Cindy Caradine and she is an extremely helpful and personable lady to work with. Edgar's has some of the best cakes and pastries around- their Pettifors are absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended.
A wonderful spot to pull up some work on their WiFi, eat great food, and snack on a cinnamon roll. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful.
While the food we purchased was good, we waited around 10 minutes before anyone offered to help us. In those ten minutes many employees had made eye contact with us and just ignored the fact that we needed something from the case. Not worth the wait, I'll just go to Publix next time.
I've been here several times and never had bad food - their regular menu is great and their brownies are HEAVEN. Highly recommended!
Edgar's is a very good full service bakery. Cakes, cupcakes, rolls, cookies and much more. They also have a lunch menu with lots of nice salad and sandwich items. Good place to go.
We enjoy the experience and the small baked items.
Love Edgar's fresh breads and desserts. The sandwiches made on the fresh bread and the Strawberry cake are favorites.
Margaret & Cindy are horrible!! Not sure how Margaret achieved a management position or how Cindy has a job. Takes forever to reply then talks to you like its your fault. Then they pretty much called me a liar. Had the worse experience with these people after my husband traveled 1.5 hours to get cake. Disgusting people. The only reason I gave them 1 star is so I can leave a review.
Terrible service..when u call the answering service a lady named Margaret is very rude, needs hospitality improvement BIG TIME
