Frankies is great. I hated Frankie retired and closed his restaurant. Rumors had it that he was going to open in McCalla, but apparently was just rumor.

My visit to Frankies Market Cafe was underwhelming. The coffee at 4257 Highway 52 W, Helena, Alabama 35080 was lukewarm, and the pastries were stale. I had heard good things about this place, so I was disappointed by the lackluster experience. The coffee temperature left much to be desired, and the accompanying pastries were far from fresh.
