Went for my birthday had the seafood buffet it was amazing and my fiances steak was perfect. The service was the best around very friendly cozy and country I highly recommend this place.

Seafood at its best fish filets are whole peace knot cut in half to make 2 peace of fish.. will be back

Me and my daughter ate there.

Food was amazing. So good that we could not finish. There was a lot. Very friendly service also. We will be back when we are in the area.

I thought it was wonderful the food was amazing and the service was also great!! I had the Sea food Buffet which was amazing!! If you love Sea food you will love this!! I recommend to eat at the Homestead Cafe!!

Homestead has the best seafood this side of the gulf! My husband and I have made this out Friday night outing since they started seafood buffet!

Had a jumbo cheeseburger yesterday and fries, they were out of this world good ! Great service and friendly staff makes this a great stop.

We have been several times & the seafood buffet is always great!

I was disappointed last night. We arrived at 7:10 & was seated immediately. The waitress told us they were out of frog legs.

We had to scrap the bottom to get enough boiled shrimp, they ran out!

They should buy enough & keep it for the next week, it’s all frozen!

I will go back, just glad I didn’t take my family from Tennessee last night! Would have been really disappointing!

Today, my mother, my husband and myself went to eat at Homestead Cafe after a doctor's visit as we always do every two weeks. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, which was delicious and my husband and mother had the buffet. My husband was pleased with his food but my mother's food, her beans, were off a bit. I tasted them and they were indeed, off. We have always enjoyed our food there and this was the first time any of us has ever had to send anything back. When my mother went to pay for our meal, she was treated badly and with much disrespect. I have worked at many good food establishments myself and never, have i ever, talked to a customer the way my mother was talked to today! For one thing, you do not raise your voice and make a scene with a customer. You take them aside and discuss the problem as adults ought to! Secondly, you do not tell a person who visits your place of business as often as my mother has visited Homestead Cafe, that she is not a customer. She came to your business, expected a good meal, did not receive what she expected and then was talked down to in front of a lobby full of other customers like she was nothing! That is not how you run a place of business catering to the public's likes! Please see if you can control your outbursts with paying, repeat customers who have received food that, today, was sub par!

So as many of you know a deer hit my car and it has been put in the shop until it's fixed. I had to drive the blue truck to work today which don't have windshield wipers that work good at all. On my way home when it started raining and I couldn't see, I pulled over in the parking lot of the homestead where so many other vehicles pull to. The owner Kevin out of nowhere comes to my truck and starts yelling at me saying I've been the one messing up his grass out in front of the cafe. Just because I'm driving a big truck!! I never drive this truck but still he stood there and in a not nice way at all accused me of doing it. I understand it's probably aggravating to them when their grass gets messed up and all he had to do was kindly ask. But to come to my window and accuse me of being the one who done it and being very very rude about the situation was not the way to handle it. All I was doing was sitting there just like the other vehicles. He then told me that I couldn't park there, that it was his parking lot!! I never knew he was like that, I've always thought he was sweet but I definitely seen a side of him I haven't seen. I told him that I never drive this truck, that I had just drove it to work because my car was in the shop. Even after I told him that he continued to yell out to someone that he had my tag number. Never in my life would I think I would get accused of such a thing just by pulling in the parking lot until the rain stopped because I couldn't see!!
